What happened to the “What’s on your mind” topics that were on the right side of the website along with the “Recent Topics”? I haven’t changed anything on my end, but those no longer are displayed. I checked my settings, but don’t see anything relating to those.
EDIT: The “Status Updates” that is what it is called. I can get to it using the Quick Navigation option, but still don’t see a way to get them back on the right side of the page.
First guess - intentionally removed because of rage / flaming after recent patch
Since blocking/deleting our statuses is censure, they decided to remove it, so if you want to know what other users think, well, bad luck, you’ll have to enter profile by profile to check it out.

Nah click the little icon next to the “View New Content” in top Right you can get there in the Community->Member Status Updates.
Looks like they’re fixing the forums just fine… how about focusing on the game now?
It does speak volumes when a game company doesn’t address the root cause of the communities discontent, but rather tries to silence them.
More importantly… what does that suggest about the current state of the game? If those in charge feel the need to silence outrage and anger in this manner… how bad is it really? And how close to a possible shutdown/collapse?
Is it possible we are actually witnessing the death throes of Star Conflict?
Then again this could just be another instance of removing telltale indicators of discontent. Like they removed the dislike button when the community sent Intricate and Uhmari’s reputation points deep into the red after their “spying” fiasco.
Which, now that I think about it, is very strange. Because they definitely deserved what they got, and yet those in charge “protected” them by removing the ability to downvote…

Hey SoldiersFortune, thanks for clearing that up for me, I didn’t knew why we don’t have a “dislike” button like in the russian’s forum, but now I can see clearly why: Censorship.

Ok, what’s next?
There is Censorship and there is Moderation, those are 2 different things.
Because kids can’t handle huge negatives, this is why FaceBook doesn’t have “dislike”. And believe me, Russian forums are much-much stronger moderated, we are here in paradise, most of the stuff just gets deleted, banns are rare, they taking it easy on us.

So long as you don’t label what we have here as “freedom”, I won’t have a problem. Never confuse lax censorship and freedom.
If in order to stop the show of discontent/anger, they choose to remove a button as “dislike”, and hide from normal/common view the status updates, delete the posts, and other stuff like that, instead on taking care of the problem, earing the players/consumers and bring solutions, well, idk.
