In this environment, such “freedoms” are defined by the administrators, just as if you had walked into their own homes. Or something like that.

About the rest… Well, I know that the moderation is needed, that you can’t let caos and anarchy invade a forum (or anything for that matter), I’m not new in the forum world, but… Nah, nvm, it’s getting harder and harder to express myself properly without being misunderstanded, damn my english u.u
Then again this could just be another instance of removing telltale indicators of discontent. Like they removed the dislike button when the community sent Intricate and Uhmari’s reputation points deep into the red after their “spying” fiasco.
I’ve been on the forums since early July, and they must have left before I joined. I’ve seen them mentioned before, as well as whatever with Yurka(I imagine a PM is better in that case), but WTF really happened?!?!
There is Censorship and there is Moderation, those are 2 different things.
Because kids can’t handle huge negatives, this is why FaceBook doesn’t have “dislike”. And believe me, Russian forums are much-much stronger moderated, we are here in paradise, most of the stuff just gets deleted, banns are rare, they taking it easy on us.

I’ve read on the Russian forums occasionally, mainly INN and patch notes. We do have it easier here than they do. I don’t know how much is indifference and how much is understanding different cultures. Odds are it’s indifference with knowledge western nations provide more money. If these forums are abandoned by the devs, at least we know we can join together and scream in an open field. I can’t recall the last time I saw a dev post outside of a dev started thread. Error’s intermittent, supporting the Germans(completely understandable due to language), and the rest I’m just not sure based on activity. Error’s not even a dev, so I’m clueless. Outside of patchnotes and dev blogs we could probably say whatever we want and it won’t be seen by anyone in charge. Sadly, that’s anarchy and not democracy.

We have threads for almost each topic related to the game, so there is no need of such a feature.

Rage? Lol, you havent seen rage than, 0.8 , 0.9, 0.9.3. Those status updates did become tweets,: i listen to this! I am bored at work, here picture of a cat,! Farming my xxxx here!
And so on and so on… These were xxxx, and it was 90% of all statuses
Yet they did not give a xxxx while we were doing that. Now we start complaining in there again and suddenly it’s gone 
Does this mean all ‘tweets’, so to speak, are going to end up in Star Off Topic?

You, as a witness of 0.8 and 0.9, should remember that w/e we had for last week is a kids play comparing to amount of xxxx storm spitting out everywhere back then, so saying that it was removed due to sole negativity is not fair.

It does but we have all that blank space there they could use fo something useful, I don’t see any reason to go against my suggestion

When I said so? No need to put words in my mouth… or hands in this case. Removing a nice feature present in plenty of forums worldwide is somewhat weird, to say the least.
By the way, I like Residente’s proposal, that empty space could be filled with that, or something similar, I mean, no need to leave it blank.
