As of Aug 28,2014:

 

 

 

We are a small Federation Corp with about ten active members. With that being said, pilots are welcome to apply and join. the corporation

While still trying to get ourselves established, our only enforced rule is that you must be active at least once every  thirty days.  More frequently would be better, but until then, the maximum consecutive absences allowed is thirty days.

We do not have any official voice or video chat system, however individual members have been said to be using these individually for small-scale game communication.

 

To join, contact one of the officers or send an application via the corporation tab-window;

The CEO ninjaclaw has not been online for more than a month, and I fear the worst about that.

The VP TheFireLord has also been offline for almost a month.

Although anybody can join, we are currently looking for people with access to Sector Conquest and the freespace mode “Invasion”.

 

 

 

Also, not exactly a requirement, but would be preferred if you have:

 

Fleet strength of at least 3

Skill rating of at least 900 or average kills of at least 1.3

Any T2 ship or any Premium Ship

 

This is due to a large number of people who are looking to join a corporation are still those learning the controls and still deciding whether to keep or uninstall the game.

If you meet these requirements, we will do what we can to invite you to the corp.

If you do not however, please send an officer a message and you will be considered.

 

I am currently looking into purchasing additional roster spaces, but this may take some time for me.

I am also thinking of adding a Corp Tag, please message me (preferably in-game) if you have any ideas for one.

     Reminder, it can only be a maximum of 5 characters

Unless of course the other VP or CEO do so, I am taking  any suggestions or ideas( or simply even support at this point).

 

 

 

As I mentioned above, the CEO and other VP have been offline for quite some time, and it is very likely they will not return.  I have been managing the corp since then.

It may help if you explain a bit your main timezones so people can consider that when asking for a slot in your corporation.

NEW VP NEEDED

 

 

With the amount of time and money I feel I have invested, it pains me to say this, but I am seriously considering leaving the game (This time I have decided permanently )

 

However, this corporation is what brought me back about two times (the first was the Freespace mode), and as practically the last high officer of the corp, I am looking for a replacement.

You will be given the position of Vice President.

The only thing you cannot do is shutdown/dissolve the corp, and promote people to VP. (only CEO)

 

Granted that this transfer of title is allowed by the Game Masters and Developers, of course.

 

 

If you accept, and before we go to the GMs and Devs to ask about this, I ask that you be atleast somewhat experienced within the game, and that you plan on staying with the game and the corp after I leave.  Please feel free to contact me for any issue or questions you may have (either in-game or forum message), and I will usually respond within 1-2 days at the most.

You will be able to create a corp emblem, for iridium

You will be able to rename the corp and create a corp tag for GS

You will be able to change the side for about 1M credits

You will be able to fire, hire, promote, or kick any members and officers you choos (except one other VP and the CEO)

You will be able to change the message of the day and corporation description

I also feel like I am kinda legally required to say that I am offering a position, not my account or any information, and this transfer will free of charge (atleast as by on my terms and/or account)

I do not see why you would need permission from the Devs/Admins or GMs to pass on a position within your Corp to a new player. The choice is up to you and however your Corp has decided to deal with such a situation. (If I am wrong, any other GM/Admin/Dev can feel free to modify this post to correct it.)

I’m sorry it wasn’t clear, but as I have stated the CEO is gone, and the other VP logs on maybe once a month at the most.  The CEO was the only person who could appoint a VP, similar to how an officer cannot promote a private to the officer rank. 

 

As a VP, the most I can do is give people the officer rank.  If I just leave, the corp will slowly die, and those remaining will mainly stay just for the corporation’s name.

My advise? Either start a new corp and bring whoever wishes to follow you from the older corp with you, or join a new corp. I have been in a similar situation in the past. Many of us left and made a new corp, and while many of them have left or become inactive, the new corp still lives on. I loved my old corp, but if people are in it only for the name and not the culture that actually defines the corp, then leave and take the culture with you and start anew.

Suggestion: If CEO has been gone for longer than 30 days a VP may become the new CEO. If there are multiple VPs then a poll is held with officer and regular pilots voting. After 3 days person with highest vote gets CEO position. Old CEO still remains CEO and cannot be deleted from roster.

Thanks for the suggestion, didn’t think something like that would be implemented.

You beg and pray that the devs implement a solution to the issue of lost CEO’s.  At a minimum they’ve implemented the VP positions, but there is no solution to the issue of a lost CEO.

 

 

I loved my old corp, but if people are in it only for the name and not the culture that actually defines the corp, then leave and take the culture with you and start anew.

I’m genuinely curious, since it’s not really public.  How do individual corps regards themselves for their culture to tell one from another?

Similar ideals, maybe language (friends IRL?), same country, etc. It is why some people stay in NASA, WPK, ESB, NOVA, etc. That and that, while in a corp, you can really get to know people in it very well.
