"The Daily Grind"

It’s a terrible idea.

I know that you use it as a way to retain players day-to-day, but it is simply an awful thing. The grind for special module parts should not be limited to daily and should be made in to an alternate contract. To keep the daily grind up you could replace them with something harder to obtain but more valuable such as gold or paints or stickers. Limited-time application aesthetics as well as universal money are definitely a thing to limit to daily. Something like parts though should not be under any circumstances. Especially with how many there are and are going to be.

I realise that I’ve gone in a bit of a circle here, but my point can not be made any clearer: “Do not restrict module part missions to daily.”

There’re a lot of what to do in Star Conflict, and Dailies are one of the things. A lot of pilots have personall lives, work or study or something else to do, we want to make sure that everyone can do important tasks in a short time and will not be far behind other more active pilots. If we will make this missions always available, it will highly increase a gap between active players and usual ones, who play 1-2 hours per day. Daily activities is a common things in MMO to control progression in the game and react fast if something.

To make it plain: Such a restriction suck. You simply say FUFU YOU to anyone, that can invest time. And that w/o any real reward!

And I’m doing something false, because I don’t see a mission yet for these additional modules and I own Hyena/Styx…

Daily activities are only so restricting, if you want to lock special gear/areas/whatever behind a wall. But this suck extrem.

Dailies are OK. But Dailies that takes easily 2h to complete aren’t because casual players can’t do them.

And makes Dailies the only viable option to get one time isn’t good for the game too. Because it means that once you’ve done the daily mission for what you want, there no more reason to play.

I’m fine with dailies, but it would be nice for them to accumulate (up to a reasonable limit, say three days worth of missions) Some days you just can’t find the time to play, and would rather do them all at once in one long session at the weekend or something. The current system gives a negative feeling of losing out.

I want to tell u a story.

A while ago I wanted to have a cewl destroyer like everybody else. So I grinded my way through the T8 PVP until i had all the Neodium. It was pretty bad, since R8 ships are manly bad and u competed against R9 and well, destoyers. Still a T3 destoyer was only chance I had. R11 forget it!

So igrinded for months, deinstalled the game once cuz it was so frustrating. But icame back, i just wanted to have that destroyer.

Then, finally i got enough Neodium. And i was superhyappy and i wanted to build it. I knew how it worked cuz i already had build an special project ship. BUUUT! NO! Unlike the special projects, u need a specific set of modules instead of choosing them urself… so now i am missing 40 Monocrystals u can get only one a day by superboring OS.

RAGEQUIT!

Well i know some people have the nerve for it, perhaps i even come back and grind once more, but its still depressing.

Special ships need a specific set of modules too now.

But I agree. Too much grind, no fun. It’s a buy or forget.

You can get monos in pvp now. I have over 400 of them just by playing pvp (I don’t do those stupid OS dailies anymore, they aren’t worth my time)
