Not sure why but I think that it’s completely reasonable that with the amount of human, cyber, and biomorph manipulation on Crystallid technology that a “corrupt” faction of crystalline alien ships emerge to be fought in OS or PvE. I’d see them as more asymmetrical and purple instead of green, with weird viral modules and weapons and just a virus-y purple theme. With the current assets it shouldn’t be too hard to throw together some temporary models and the textures would just be the normal ones but purplized. Modules and weapons would be different tho and need some work. And sound effects. They gotta have new sound effects. Maybe like a more corrupted, whining version of the normal crystallid sounds.
