I just realised that some of the ships have moving parts now and really reall wanna test them all out to see what they’re all like. Problem is I don’t have $200 to spend on parts to build ships. It would be AWESOME if we could right-click>test-drive the ships before we made them, with maybe a basic loadout and some bots to play with. This would be amazing.
Edit: also with module selection, so we can figure out what suits us best out of the three! ^^
I suggested decades ago the implementation of a Test mode where you could test any ship with any module and weapon for the sake of saving credits in case you don’t like it or whatever. :fed003:

A lot of f2p shooters (like Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Phantoms, PlanetSide 2) have a shooting range where you can try out weapons and gear before you decide to buy. I like this idea because it would allow people to determine what is the best way to build a SP based on their playstyle _before _committing effectively weeks and months of resources gathered into building the ship.
Maybe a cool, lore-friendly, and immersive thing that the devs can implement would be to have some sort of Pilot VR Training Simulator, where the pilot can input the parameters of their experimental SP build and try out its performance in some sort of battle.
Of course, I’m no game dev and I surmise that the implementation of this idea would probably be quite difficult, but I believe that this might be the best way to make this idea come to fruition.
