Teamspeak

Can someone give me the link so i can download teamspeak? I tested out my microphone and it works, though im not sure how clear it is on the other end. I dont have a headset its a built-in microphone on my computer. Is it suggested i get a headset?

Google is your friend: http://www.teamspeak.com/

You can use a desktop microphone you don’t need to have it on your headset.

ok thx enny

Just a word of advise to you if you’re using a built in mic on a laptop. Unless the people you’re playing with have infinite patience for really loud clicking noises and constant fan whirr, use push to talk. If you don’t have enough keys around your hands, find one. I’ve been kicked out of many a skype chat for having a laptop mic. Moved to headset eventually because of it.

You’re a doll.

the wonders of a 20 dollar headset. Unless your me, and would spend around 50 for a nice Logitech one.

Or make that 100+ for a really nice Logitech one.

You mean my 150+ Dollar Logitech G920 wireless 7.1 surround sound? The one that I gave to my little brother (14)?

You are right. I’ve been having headsets like that for 10 years now. But i decided it’s time to spoil myself a bit, and i don’t regret the decision :stuck_out_tongue: The quality is something else (and i hope it won’t break in a couple of months).

I’m getting this headset next

JP, you only have 2 ears… a 7.1 headset is fine, but 5 drivers for each ear? I have it as well, and I must say my cheap $20 headphones sound much better.

I don’t have that one but I used to have a good 5.1 headset and while the sound is decent it’s nothing in comparison with proper hifi surround sound. You can stick as many drivers in there as you want, at the end of the day the room is limited and thus the drivers end up being rather tiny without much resonance. But better than a cheap stereo headset any day.

So the moral of the story is: Save yo money and buy something cheap.

Not exactly a cheap one. Just something that is comfortable.

I also have the logitech G930 as my main headset and have a spare G35 that is being used on my second gaming rig, best headset ever.

Loool i dont even have headset :taunt: but the built-in microphone has static when i say something
