Although the competition sounds great, and since the developers either dont have the time to impement new taunts or ask the player base to suggest new ones, I’d say the rewards given are very low.

Developers used to give us 3000 or 3300 GS in the past for such an event.
Bottom point is, always GS currency that’s worth 10 EUR. 10 selected players. The total worth of 100 EUR.
300 extra GS was given to buy your own taunt if you won one.
Old prices for taunts were 300 GS. Now they are 50 GS.
A few examples:
2015 event: Reward: 3000 GS
2016 event: Reward: 3300 GS
2017: (current event)
Reward/s: 50 GS (the price of one taunt or 1/2 price of the minimum cost of a blueprint - 100 GS)
100 monocrystals or xeno-crystals. (With the Cap limit enabled - goes to trash instantly.)
1000000 credits. (I can just play one Tier V Ariadne’s Thread and get more than that in 10 minutes.)
