T5 pvp restriction

T5 is getting more and more tier rushers that have no idea what to do. In most games bots are better than they are.

I don’t mind one per team cuz they won’t change much but 4vs4 games with one bot each side and in one team 2x Tierrushers + someone who know what to do isn’t fun.

Therefore I think there should be some requirements to join T5 pvp. Like 1000SR and 500battles or something.

The problem is, this game is made for grinding. If you tell people they can’t have their big shiny ships just playing, they will leave.

 

As soon as we have more players, this won’t be a problem (look at warthunder or world of tanks)

In WoT you had to play xxx games to get to endgame tanks and if i remember correctly WoT’s beta had several thousand players.

Not really. You can get to the E100 in more or less the same time you can get a R15 here if you play nonstop.

They added PvE in WoT?

 

Most of these rushers get T5 in PvE, they play T1(max T2) pvp and then jump to T5 through PvE.

When I played last time WoT you could get that stuff only through PvP and after few hundert battles players have some idea what to do…

No they didn’t, but you need a hell of PvE games here, each one averaging 15 min (random rushers remember?) to level up to a rank 15 ship.

 

I think getting a T10 tank is faster than that, or at least in the same level.

It is a lack of players problem, MM forces matches just to provide a match to those in the queue.

There is no grind for ships, what we have here it is hardy a “grind” progression is super fast (unless you do PvE - that is a grind)

The grind is not for ships but for loadout. Which is kinda the same thing. A good player in an Mk.1 ship is still a bad thing. I’m so annoyed when I finally find an engineer with active heals (which is still rare) and then they’re just Mk.1 so I might as well not bother.

Mk2 gear is easily accessible

I have 1-2 ships that are 100% mk4 in Sector Conquests and i dont even fly those ships now, all other ship i have in Sector Conquest are at 70% mk2 modules. And mk2 gear is fine for the most part.

 

In the same time, if a player has a license, current loyalty gains, if up to R14-R15 contracts are available, are very-very fast. Even for those that cant find games in T4-T5 and only fly T3 due to population, you still able to do up to R12s in T3 ships and most of R13-R14 are PvEable.

2 of 3 T5 contracts can be done in PvE for each faction

so w/o license you can get up to 17k vouchers in 2 PvE

 

R13-15 contracts are:

kill 10 ceptors or fighters or frigs

1500 eff pts in one battlle or 3000 in few battles

win 2 games

Well, maybe it’s a definition problem then. I play the game for 2 months, with 8 days (out of 60 days, that’s 13% of my life time… a bit sad) spent in BATTLE total.  I don’t even talk of the time lost in waiting queue and thinking of different loadouts…

I only have 2 T5 ships. 2 SHIPS ! Unnecessary to tell you they’re full of mk.1 modules. HOW IS THIS NOT A GRIND ? Even if I have chosen to upgrade my ships and modules in every other tier, to have a smoother learning curve and better gaming experience.

 

OT : I’m not a “tier rusher” and I didn’t do much T5 pvp out of sector conquest, but maybe the players you encountered are active in pvp in T3 - T4… But they’re just bad :smiley:

Yes you can get tons of vouchers in a short amount of time. The problem with vouchers is that you are always short at one or 2 factions. 

I must be doing something wrong, I can never get a good amount of vouchers fast.

welcome to grind games.  random battles, or skirmish games here,  are home to what I like to refer to as floaters.  Playerbase skill declines over time as more and more failures fail their way to the top like a buoyant xxxx in a toilet bowl.  Just look at world of tanks, there was a time when the random game playerbase was quite good at tier 10, but now after years of failures floating to the top they too have tier 10’s and so every random game is predictably a blowout, and some games are so bad even in a platoon of unicums you cannot win the game and get your self that credit/exp bonus… but I digress.

Man, that is nothing, back when i started this game, it took me good 2-3 moths to Confidently enter T3 games

That’s implying you grinded your T4/T5 ships in PVE to get access to those contracts… which is just what the OP is criticizing.

But this problem hardly exists for EU/RU population, if there are games, you can blaze through synergizing ships very-very fast. I remember i came online during RU prime time, on weekend, it was some promo with bonus synergy gains, but within couple hours i maxed out 3.5 T4 ships in random PvP games, so accommodate for bonus synergy gains and progression rate it is just perfect. The only problem that when there are no player online then you stuck, but, again, that isn’t a game problem, that is what we want and desire (more population) not developers at this stage.
