I was beaten by them the whole night for more than 1hour and I want more?
How many of you pilots weren’t bullied by the ESBs? (in realistic modes sometimes they didn’t capture points but just going to kill you all)
Error I know you are in the ESB but what you did only make people hate them more.
Here is a suggestion, create a pvp mode called pvp without ESBs and see how many people would not want to play in that mode. And let mad dogs like me and some of my mad friends to play with the ESBs.
I like to challenge the strongers and so are my old friends in TSK and new friends in NASA. You cannot stop us!
And here is a little advise for those who were bullied by the ESBs and want to have a revenge: remember always to bring a covert ops in one of your ship slots and equip the self-destruct mode. those ESBs are afriad of dying because they don’t wanna lose their rating. but remember. when a lower rating pilot kill a higher rating pilot, your rating would increase sharply. so even if you were killed by an ESB pilot for 5 times and you killed him once. your rating would still go up and their rating would drop dramatically. And when everyone focus on killing them, you will become their nightmares.
So here I say it again:

i only type that message 3 times in the global channel with interval of about 10s. since they didn’t reply I was about to give up before I realized I was banned from chat.
Anybody else feel like T4 is totally unplayable right now? No matter the rank T4 ships really don’t stand a chance against a T5 ship much less a squad of them because of the implants. ESB is getting all this free synergy farm because of it…of course everything will be nerfed once they all have their rank 15 ships maxed.
If they want to play T5 that’s fine, just separate the tiers like you did with T4/T3 before the 0.9.0 patch. You never once saw a rank 11 or higher T4 ship in T3 games…you know why? It wouldn’t be balanced at all…just like the problems we’re having now.
So basically due to catering to the Russian “old guard” they just gave most of ESB super easy progression through all of T5 from farming T4 ships.
Now Error I know you’re going to say…“but other players (american) have T5 ships too”. Not even close to the extent the Russian players do. Plus with ESB literally scaring everybody away from T4 and higher pvp matches, it’s almost impossible to synergize these ships due to 5 min queue times and facing an ESB squad every match.
Myself personally, I have almost every ship tree in all 3 factions progressed up to T4. I have like 1 or 2 ships left in T3 that could use synergy…and one is a Jericho LRF >.<. I literally have nothing left to do in T3 and need T4 matches to progress more. With the way things are now…I might make it to T5 next year sometime. I’m even desperate enough to start trying to level my T4 interceptors in PvE because otherwise they would never get synergy.
So thanks Gaijin for playing favorites and ruining the game for the majority of the people trying to progress. Oh and the next tournament you host…just go ahead and call it a “Give prizes to ESB Tournament” because what’s the point in playing if ESB squads sweep the top 3 spots every time? At least limit 1 squad per corporation…but you know then all your ESB flunkies wouldn’t get all those free prizes…only 1 team would…OMG the horror!!! Somebody else other than ESB might win a prize!!!
Agree with the OP. T5 ESB squads ruin the game for me. I can’t even play and no one will queue for T4 for this reason alone. People have T4 ships, we could shorter wait in queues for T4, but everyone just leaves because they’re matched with the T5 squad over and over.
EDIT: inb4 people come in telling us we suck and it’s not fair to blame ESB. Yes it is! Whether they are doing this on purpose or not (they probably don’t even care) they are abusing the hell out of the mixed tier mechanic. I’ve queued for T4, 50 or so matches or so, they are either always a 1v1 with bots or an ESB squad, no exceptions. The only time I could ever actually have a decent game with my T4 ship is when I get lucky and get pushed down to T3, now thats just sad.
Yeah I say separate the top 2 tiers like they should of done in the first place, let ESB go play with and farm themselves in T5 and let us T4 players actually play the game. We could be having full capacity T4 matches right now if it wasn’t for the ESB death squads trolling everybody.
No actually T5 ESB are all of my problems atm. I have to fly T4 ships to progress any further…hence my issue with ESB. Actual gameplay mechanics I’m perfectly fine with, I’ve adjusted before and I’ll adjust when they change it again in the future.
T3 is getting boring to me now…flying around in 9/9 synergy ships with half experimental, half Mk III modules and weapons…basically T3 is for credit grinding and contracts for me now. I played my butt off to progress to T4 and be completely done with T3 subcontracts and all…which I can’t even play now.
I don’t think the topic is suggesting to remove ESB from the game (lol maybe) but in a long winded way saying to separate the tiers, because the mixed-tier mechanic has become even more broken with the introduction of T5.
The matchmaking is currently +/-3. So a rank 15 ship could be placed in a rank 12 game, which may include pilots as low as rank 9. :facepalm:
Because of the way MM queue works, if you on the “upper end” (that is T5) you will always get pushed down to the -3 side of matchmaking, and ultimately end up squashing a bunch of T4s.
There’s nothing to adjust to here though…this isn’t like the Nukefest or bubbles of doom. I can’t dodge an ESB squad…besides having half their Corp on follow and waiting until they’re all in game to queue. Oh and yes I HAVE tried that…guess what? Queue times are so long the ESB squad had enough time to have a nice 4 min long match farming kills and synergy, take a moment to recollect/grab something to drink after the match, requeue…and I get put in a game with them anyways.

They had almost the same MM system in place before T5 came out but you would never see T4 ships in T3 besides the occasional 800 rating player in his Rank 10 ship.
They mixed the top 2 tiers so the Russian players wouldn’t have a hard time finding matches for their T5 ships…it’s as simple as that.
I’m pretty sure they’ve changed the MMqueue mechanics since then, because there will be a lot of rank 10 T4s in a T3 games these days. Its just when you hit rank 11 it becomes unbearable and you always put into T5 games every freaken time.
