this is bs, people that was average 1500-1700 rating and thats in tier 3-5* is now spamming tier 5 with their A1MA, when they come tier 5 their rating usually fall,
people that often never plays tier 5 now sticks with the amazing aimbot module and gets rating thro the roof by doing simply nothing.
aiming by urself is one of the points in dogfighting and now its broken.
i must say i really dont like playing t5 annymore. dogfighting = broken
3 seconds seems little but cooldown around 40 sec? you really dont know how it feels before you get out in the field and fight against it like we do.

But yes, both A1MA and the reverse thruster module ruin PvP. I’m sure you wouldn’t complain about reverse thruster though… coz you use it on your ship

I agree. And reverse thruster has much more influence on rating than aimbot because aimbot cant make you unkillable. Reverse thruster can (specially with r13 implant).

80-100 second CD seems a bit excessive for a module that only last 3 seconds and can be mitigated or outright rendered useless by every class. More so because Rapidus doesn’t affect A1MA.
Does not matter what the cooldown is, the module with such maechanics should not exist in the game like Star Conflict

It can only be mitigated if you can time your, say combat reboot, for the exact moment that they activate the module. More than likely by the time you actually notice what’s going on they’ve already used it.
Well in T5, F14 and J14 should give you enough time. It’s not ideal, but neither is the lock breaking when the opponent moves behind an asteroid which happens more often than you’d think. And while Gunship most likely will have problems with it the more fragile interceptors can ‘cloak’ or use metastable for a longer duration than the A1MA. ODG and Diffusion Shield would probably suffice too. Frigs should be able to tank it not even taking into account Engi’s heals, guard’s special module, and LRFs can break lock too.
That being said it shouldn’t have been added, but now that it’s here I don’t see it as that big of a problem.

Well, that is not a solution. In fact it is a terrible idea. And btw, reverse thruster is also available in T3, so you should play T2 to avoid invasion broken modules.

Umm… so am I missing out on something? I have no clue what the reverse thruster does, however I agree on one point. The a1ma should be removed as it completely just removes the definition of skill and then decides take a **** on it.
Reverse thruster is a cool module in concept. It allows the lrf to have some mobility on the battlefield.
However, with the cooldown it have now + E14 implant, it is basically a instant gtfo. Its cooldown should be increased to something comparable to the warp gate.
Also, I dont see why this module is crafting only, some of the other craftable modules are variations of existing modules. This should be part of the standard modules and purchasable with credits.

First of all the blink of the Reverse Thruster should have a travel time just like Engineer’s Warp Gate and Recon’s Microwarp. It makes sense.
Second, the cooldown should be longer, in the same fight with a LRF he will jump more than once or twice, and it’s just stupid that a ship that is supposed to have bad mobility gets a module that completely removes that disadvantage.
LRFs now are self sufficient, they don’t need a team, if they have self regens and their shitloads of CPU modules they don’t need a team anymore, and that’s not how it should work.
