Well it would be nice to have some sun glare :P. Maybe from the orange globe that is near the center of the map on some maps.
EDIT: For the sake of science, it would look better to have some solar flare animation (small fireballs exiting and returning to the sun) and some more glow.
Well, it could look good, but again, there’s no light in space…
Long live the SR modders! (otherwise SR would be dead since long ago)
It would be a nice effect indeed, i’m always all about sun, sun rays, godrays, light bloom, DoF and more effects of the kind
But the sun is the most important. I shoot lots of photos when i’m out for a cross country ride and most of them are towards the sun for a better dramatic effect with contrasts and more lively colors.
Science debate? No thanks, I just woke up, I need coffee, and I need it bad, lol.
Anyway, now we have snow inside an orbital station, so yeah, as long as I have a “turn off” option, add up light, more sound, rain and flying green goblins xD

It’s like saying, the game should have no sound because space is a vacuum. Do you want to have this like space DayZ?
So pilots can afford a on-board comp but not a better cpu?
Yeah, that’s the level of logic in the game, lol: “I must simulate every sound with this super-amazing on-board computer, but this ship won’t have a spread reduction CPU”

All they have to do for shrapnel is wrap the shot in a plastic material. The first shot snipes, but as the barrel heats up it melts the plastic and gets a higher spread, sort of like rapid fair rails or Icebolt.
