I don’t know what kind of Recon you fly against, but that won’t work on me. If I get hit by Tackler debuffs I cloak and the debuffs are gone. Only times I die to tacklers are if I’m unable to cloak due to them having their own Recon support, or they are hunting in packs and I can’t microwarp away in time.
But a lone, unsupported Tackler? He won’t get any kills against a Recon with a cloak.
Guess I have to make videos on Tacklers now, too… Godamnit.
Why none demands any changes in LRF?
Because the only changes they need is for the Torpedo to receive a buff so it doesn’t get shot down by Missile Defenses all the time.

Ah, T3s. Well, that’s a whole different story. They just need a buff in the Disintegrator and, like I said, the Torpedo to not get shot to hell on the first Missile Defense Guard. Maybe a damage buff, as well. Then people would start to use LRs more often.
T2 can sometimes become a sniper war. It’s not fun, getting lased by 6 disintegrators.
Agreed, Recon’s spy drones make you far from useless. What they do, and do well, is prevent covert play.
Tacklers are, in my opinion, hard-countered by Recons. The spy drone prevents them from sneak attacking or disengaging via cloak, while the Recon can shrug off Tackler debuffs with its own cloak and then use Parasitic Remodulator to swing the fight in its favour.
The fact is that a properly equipped Recon is good to have as both an offensive and defensive unit. They aren’t that strong in and of themselves, but like ECM they are a potent force multiplier.
The repair rate debuff is fine with me.
But when you are in an inty, carrying the bomb, you atleast want the first second of flying without 5 locks on you. Which is impossbile while perma-Spy-Droned. That is why I ask for a nerf to their duration and range.
Edit: And make it possible to drop the bomb with a button…that would also be lovely.

Lol, federation frigates have gone out of control…
I have heard of them going over 500…but my fighter actually just got hunted, and basicly gotten up to by a federation engineer…It’s kind of silly…

To be fair, it’s not hard to speed-fit in T4s, thanks to that wonderful engine modifier slot.
Fed Guards only. They were too damn fast, and the last patch saw their speed buffed by 15%. So now they’re 5% faster than before.

Tacklers are meant to counter “interceptors”. That doesn’t necessarily mean they should be good against all Interceptors. They are very good at crushing Covert Ops, for example.

EDIT: What really annoys me is that the things Tacklers are supposed to be interceptor-hunters, and inty pilots should fear them. I don’t when I’m in an ECM or a Recon because I know I have a massive ‘F*** YOU!’ button waiting to be pressed.
Come to T3. Metastable field rarely saves the ECM there.

EDIT: Want to come to T3 but costs are too high! Actually, that’ll go in the next fake patch. General consensus is that 0.8.5 is good.
The reason Metastable won’t save you are pilots with enough dakka to 1-shot you and timing skills to do it the moment the field collapses. Ion won’t help there.
