Suggestion: new pve mode

Hi guys

 

This thread is made to give ideas to developers about a new special pve mode that may be added in future for more pve options and tier 5 players, J

 

 

 

As we all know this game has 5 pve currently, a good idea would be to put a special pve map

 

Related to our solar system.

 

 

 

 The plot should be about empire defending their home system from a Jericho attack, in this Mission you will have to interrupt dreadnought arrival and continuing its destruction to other sectors

 

 

 

Possible names of the Mission:

 

Strike on earth,

 

Dreadnought attack,

 

Dreadnought raid

 

 

 

Info:

 

Available ranks: 12-15

 

Empire, inner worlds

 

Sector: 1650

 

System: sol system

 

 

 

Difficulty: impossible

 

 

 

1st round

 

Starting point: away from dreadnought

 

 

 

1 obj)  Destroy Energy conduit systems of the dreadnought

 

- Places may be 2 at sides and 1 inside the ship that you will have to enter it

 

  • Those systems should be well protected with turrets (4+) and many flaks (4+)

 

  • Te central conduit should have a hard pass to reach.

 

  • with hp 100.000

 

2 obj) Destroy the main shield generator

 

  • That should have much Health (175.000-250.000 hp)

 

  • Strong defense systems

 

3 obj) destroy the ships engine mechanics on the back and sides

 

 - The ship engine conduits should be at the back of the dreadnought this will be the easy part

 

 - They won’t be well defended

 

 - With Health 150.000+

 

 

 

2nd round:

 

Starting point: at the back of the dreadnought

 

 

 

1 obj) destroy the AS (AntiSpacecraft) weapons (turrets) of the ship

 

  • Their Number should be 14 turrets

 

-with health 20,000hp

 

2 obj) destroy the prison beam conduits that prevent cargo ships from getting out of the Hagar

 

  • it should be like pirate base attack (round 1 last objective)

 

-with health 75.000hp

 

 

 

3rd round:

 

Starting point: dreadnought’s hagar

 

 

 

1 obj Destroy the enemy reinforcements squad before they reach cargo ship

 

  • Those squads should be at the Number of 10-20 enemy captains / veteran agents / commanders

 

 2 obj) escort the cargo ships with prisoners at the warp gate

 

 

 

Other things that pve should have:

 

  • 650.000- 800.000+ rewards on credits (EDITED)

 

  • T5 loot

   

  • 35min average time to complete 55 mins given time (EDITED)

 

  •  Skybox of the mission Blackwood shipyard may be used

 

  • Dreadnought may be the same as the one from the in the incoming clan wars feature

I like the idea.  But just two questions.

 

1)  “Difficulty: Impossible” - So how do you get the resources if you cannot win?

2)  50 minute games?  You can make over 250,000 credits per 10 minutes if you’re rampaging through PvE.  There’s no point to long games, as no one wants to play against an AI for that long when there is a faster, more efficient option already in place.

I’m sure it is doable, though I have not accomplished that.  I was undershooting the actual potential numbers, but it reaffirms my point, too.

Anyway I like your suggestion byside the Reward and time setup

 

There are multiple ideas around this and no full commitment.

 

I personally hope for new missions.

 

We were so happy on the Pirate Base until we figured out how to deal with it.

 

New challenges are always welcome, but you usually find them in PvP.

Nice idea. I would suggest doing a max time of 60min and average time of 30min.

 

rewards would need to be in the 3 million credits range or more to be worth it.

 

In T4 blackwood I get close to 600k without premium ship and ammo.

you get ca 500-550k on blackwood t5 with lvl 15 ships.

My personal record 805k from BlackWood, but i pretty much soloed the whole thing

3000 / 500 = 6 times more Credits

Who do you mean? 1+1=3 right?

3M credits for the average time of 30min I suggested which is 5 or 6 time longer than a fast Blackwood.

But as the word average suggest it is an AVERAGE so you could be faster if you have a good team and everything timed down to the sec.

I generally average about 660k of credits in a pug blackwood, but I’ve hit over 680k.  A fifty minute PvE, if you got players willing to queue and play for fifty minutes straight should net at least 7m credits.

 

I’m wondering if I’m don’t have a DLC with credit bonuses…

Looks nice. Also, remember there are a lot of carebears who are happy with grinding PvE and don’t look at the credits per minute ratio.

 

But anyway, the devs added a new mission already a month ago, and a good one tbh. Let them focus now in polishing PvP for release, and then they can add more content.

guys thanks for your replys, the rewards may not be right anyway  this idea considers a pve harder than pirrate base attack, i will change rewards on post if you dont like them, its also just a sugestion it  is idea ffor developers
