stop the kill stealing

I talked yesterday with an other corp member and we noticed that it is now pretty much usual to steal the kill points from other players. It looks like this: waiting and doing nothing at all until the shields an hulls from an enemy ships are down and then doing just one or two shots, so they get the kill assigned.

 

My suggestions is, that one should only get the kill points, if he does at least some percents of the damage to the target, lets say 10% or 15%.

 

Another solution could be the following: the player with the most damage to the target gets the kill award.

Perhaps you can just use some weapons which deals massive damage. Then it’s easier to “steal” kills.

But really, I don’t think that we need these % stuff.
