Invasion has a majority of players who just do their own thing and play. There is a PvP component, but it’s not common. The most common instances involve players on the lowest karma leaderboard. I’ve found several on the list who use a sneak attack method to kill other players. One player I saw constantly killing other players, dieing, and used at least five duplicators in the process. Without memorizing the list it’s hard to know who’s genuinely a threat. Even if they were constantly red to denote their status, cloaks would make them invisible so they can surprise unsuspecting players.
I propose attacked players be given a temporary invulnerability relative to the difference in karma between the attacker and the victim. It could give the attacked player time to realize what’s going on and adjust to the person attacking them.
You are allowed to cancel any daily monocrystal mission but only once per day. You don’t have to do quests in dangerous sectors but if you happen to already use cancel and another mission is in a dangerous sector then you must do it.
Hmm are all various required “Crystals” available\obtainable within the safe zones ? In order to craft some of the “desireable gear” you have to have some of those hard to obtain crystals.
Right now monocrystals are needed in so many darned things that I don’t sense any exclusivity to them. It’s like another thing to grind, not something to earn. I don’t see why I need to expose myself to danger just to grind for basic resources.
Nahhh sneak attacks are part of the fun. You should try it some time on lone pilots or with groups of friends on other squads. The other day 2 of my corp mates and I flawlessly ambushed a 6 man frig ball in sorting facility. 6 kills 0 loss and a lot of cargo!
Dangerous zones are that: dangerous. If you get a mission there, cancel and do another. Also, recons excel at doing missions in dangerous zones. Might I recommend one of those?
Cancelled and got another mission still in a dangerous sector. Pretty dumb, if you ask me. Not that I actually bothered myself with the invasion quests…
I’ve done missions in the dangerous PvP sectors all the time and ALIENS have killed me more than actual players.
If you’re going out JUST for the monocrystal missions and you get PK’d, boohoo, just relaunch and suck up the 5 minutes of travel time it takes. If you hung around long enough to be a target, that is your own fault.
If you get killed by a sneak attack, clearly your ship build sucks and you didn’t come prepared with an escape option.

Star conflict is a pvp game. if you are afraid of danger in a pvp game, you should go and find some other game.

You’ve completely missed the point. If I’m looking for some really rare artifact then yes, they should be kept in dangerous sectors. But we need truckloads of these monocrystals. There’s no rarity factor to it. It doesn’t feel right at all. It’s like having to brave kill squads in Invasion for loyalty.
