Stasys Effect: How can some peole get out so fast?

Rank 14 Implant is the secret.

You can trigger it on Gunships with the particle purge.

Its like a 7 sec combat reboot (without indestructability) triggered when loosing the shields. 

So, use particle purge, overdrive and go on a little stasis-free rampage :slight_smile:

God xxxx damnit, boy. We already discussed this. Stasis locks you down, meaning you can’t use ANY modules, making your R8 invulnerability implant USELESS.

 

R14 implant, on the other hand, triggers AUTOMATICALLY when your shields are drained.

Unless I misunderstood. And the R14 implants are once per battle. I’m pretty sure someone will be under stasis more than once in a 4v4/5v5.

I think it’s 1 per respawn tbh, I’m not sure, but that is what I expect.

I’ve seen it before the patch, when T5 didn’t exist.  R14 implant did not exist yet.

 

Edit:  They only cause I can think of is the Combat Reboot invulnerability, and that would just be luck of the draw.

Same thing Sabre tried to point out. It doesn’t matter wether you can / cannot use stuff under stasis. If it glitches, it frees you.

Or it’s another glitch. Glitches tend to go unobserved unless they are visual glitches. Minds clearer now folks?

Edit: He was in a guard, I was in an ECM with an experimental stasis with a 4.1 second duration.  He ended up with an 83% reduction in time.

Why did i think we were talking about the stun effect after meta. field?.. Anyway, same explanation i made above applies. On top of that, it was just made valid: stasis gen is ALSO a motion prohibitor which is why the fed implant must definitely work.

I find it hard to believe TBH, isn´t there some kind of log with all info when enemy uses a module etc. it could really help clear this up.

All we are shown in his log is that the enemy somehow got control back after 0.8 seconds.

And he regained weapon fire.  If it’s the implant, then it’s allowing weapon fire and module use to be regained even though it only says engine effects.

Can’t be the implant, then…

Report this to the admins?

Guys, even if it is the implant (not sure yet, sometimes lokks like it works… but not always) … it’s cleary a bug. I mean it doesn’t even start ur module cd…

 

Point is i don’t know if remove the bug could be better or worst :smiley: Stasys is a lamer module should be removed at all imho… and i’m an ECM pilot.

Not exactly my words… 

Use the Purge BEFORE you go into a fight where ECMs might lure. THEN the effect doesnt count on you (the ECM wasted its active tho) 

Ofc. you cant use purge WHILE in stasis.

He stays stasised. Had this happen to me a few times. Apply Stasis + Energy Vamp. Unwary of my surroundings, they end up behind the Beacon and the energy vamp is taken out, but they stay stunned.
