Use the Purge BEFORE you go into a fight where ECMs might lure. THEN the effect doesnt count on you (the ECM wasted its active tho)
Ofc. you cant use purge WHILE in stasis.
Did the LoS break?
Notice the collision right after the stasis breaks? Yeah, LoS maintained. And I believe it’s only needed for the energy absorber.
I often use stasis as an additional ion emitter, but I’ve had it used against me when planing a bomb in detonation so I flew out of range. I slow down more now. It does work well when you have a group targeting someone, four seconds of them taking hits.
