We need new content soon. Secret Projects, modules, maps and modes.
No we don’t. We need the current content to be properly balanced, we don’t need more stuff yet because that will increase the time needed to balance everything.

Is it possible maybe for next patch set in corporation screen -> member list , the <status> instead of <player> as default ?
This would help lot new members to find players on line to comunicate , form team etc.
I suppose people in tier 3 and tier 2 will be happy to have me there, since I’m not playing tier 4 and tier 5 till the destructor is balanced.
@devs or w/e
u sure it’s 6k/s not 6kk/s

Now I know that building Melstrom might not have been the best idea. Federation dreadnought is the best imo.

Good day. thank you for the suggestion. It seems useful. We are planning to implement it in the future.

thank you! it really should be 6kk. We will fix that.
Why do you use “kk” anyway? That’s not normal terminology. At least not in English. “M” would be the expected abbreviation.

“m” as mili? 10^(-3) u sure?
as far as I know “M” stands for 10^6
but I know nothing so w/e
kk is usable as well, since k*k (1000 times 1000) is a million.
Anyway, who does really care?

Blame a critical shift key failure.
It is indeed “M”. Edited my original post.

Jasan.
Jasan.
As i know he never joined us in SQ battle, maybe once or twice when i wasn’t there, but not that i know.
So if he never plays this gamemode, why should he care about the dreadnought’s statistics, also he knows what kk means, and all people who think shortly know what kk means as well.
Jasan, deal with kk! Or become ingame russian to english translator

By the same logic, you’ve never played SQ either because I never saw you in game. :004j:
I do know what kk means. I also know what the game means when it says “picked up pumpkin.” That doesn’t mean that’s what it’s supposed to say.
kk is a perfectly acceptable short for “mio”, it means a thousand thousands
capital M usually is mega, not million, anyway. you could also use k², very exotic and by far nothing standard, but that would be a lot more confusing i guess
kkm is my favourite unit imho, u see in a lot of space games. a million meters, could one write metres?

You can not compare a not actualized text bug with something that is absolutely fine as it is, Jasan.
mio, m, M, kk, k², million, 1000000…
It actually doesn’t matter, because everything means the same.

How could you see me playing if YOU are the guy who never plays. <_<

No it doesn’t.
“kk” is not a numerical abbreviation. It’s made up and comes across as “engrish”. It’s a quality of life aspect - little things can make a difference when it comes to presentation. Take a trip through Steam Greenlight for a really good example of this; does anyone think a game is worth playing when the localisation was done by Google Translate?
Yes, switching it to “kk” has confirmed that the upgrade is actually working and is worth having, and so it’s better than it was, but if you’re going to localise something, why not localise it properly?

Mega = Million so cap M is perfectly fine. In fact that is how I translated it to spanish.

Imho, consistency is the key to make it feel right.
It can be different in a translation, but the most important is to keep it used whereever it is, used in the same way.
Then it works in any kind of setting or product; used enough it becomes norm; this is a work of fiction so details like this, which has no real earth norm (well you could argue, M kinda is the norm in SI now), but is standardized in the fictional world are gems for creating your own world more immersive.
I basicly like kk better, I would have kept it in translation. It is such a nice detail, like using parsecs instead of AU.
