i have had 1 the last 2 days, but one failed

The short-term ones I get seem to fail a lot, and nothing I own is apparently good enough to ensure any kind of reasonable success rate. Best I got was a short mission that asked for Rank 7, and by spamming 9-15 ships I managed to get “medium” success chance and actually won!

Again, I would love to actually see a Dev explain their thinking behind this mode, because I just can’t see it. It feels tacked on.

There is no logic, no wisdom from their actions. Mr. Spock would be disappointed. Logic failed here and where logic fails, there is no wisdom. Luckily, it can get fixed so easily, if the developers will listen.

To wait 5 - 7 days to get 2 pure silicons, 2 metal blanks and one screened battery, (if you even get 100% reward ratio), when you can salvage mark II equipment, to get much more, is simply, I am sorry to say, disturbing.

I don’t need these missions, but I would like to do them gladly, if there would be a few small, but significant changes.

 

It should be so simple to fix this:

 

  • add required configuration for each ship - when you click on the ship, you get an additional interface, which shows you what kind of modules and equipment you need (recommended setup).

  if you filled those required (barely visible slots), with the desired equipment (normally visible), you get extra % towards success.

  • put mission duration hours instead of days, or give us some option to speed up the time from 2 up to 10 times. To use this feature, you need to pay with credits.

  • missions should also involve T5 mark V invasion blueprint rewards, if successful. (requires fully synergised and upgraded ships).

  • you can cancel/decline missions without limitations, to get the one you think is prefferable.

  • increase rewards by a factor of 10, at least.

  • all successful missions should feature automatic loyalty vouchers per the whole associated faction from 20000 - 50000 per mission, depending on the faction.

 

I think, that it’s better to create a new suggestion topic on this, but something amongst those lines.

I am totally in disagreement with the new pach, in battles of scenario (PvE) at high levels is impossible to win, is a loss of time and money, I’ve played more than 15 battles in tier 5, and only win 2 battles, it’s a lack of respect for the players and their time and money, endless ships against only 4 players and exaggeratedly put missile towers, there are no guns no time to destroy this calamity created by the disrespectful developers.

I am terribly angry and frustrated with developers, it is assumed that one has a great chance to win the battle for that we are your customers, do so,make the money is just not correct and he lacked the respect for the intelligence of the players, 4 players against God can never win, I am angry because I am a stupid in front of you, things will change because I am not going to recommend this game and I am not going to put a dollar more …

If you are going to put something like this into the game, then it has to make sense.  Right now it does not.  Who is paying me for these missions?  Obviously the “Unknown” employer.  I would think such a highly secret organization would pay extra for me to keep my mouth shut.  Plus, the mission is a week long.  Why would I waste my time?  Think of currency.  I am getting paid for my time.  The missions with longer durations should pay higher.  Plain and simple.  I know I can cancel these contracts, but I don’t want to cancel such obviously bad contracts.  They shouldn’t even come in to begin with.

Hello! Maybe you can try asking for advice instead of just complaining about broken scenarios. All the scenarios are doable, all you need are the proper ships and the proper tactics.

 

If you are angry or frustrated because of a game, I recommend you find another hobbie, or try to overcome your anger surrounding you of fluffy unicorns and teddy bears.

Every mission is doable, but if your ships are on the lower end of the allowed ships and your team pick bad ships you haven’t got a prayer. I got mauled in Blackwood yesterday because two of my team brought CovOps and died straight away.

And why do you expect to complete a mission designed for 4 people, only with 2?

I expect four people in 11 - 15 ships to be able to handle an 11 - 15 mission. As it is, you are forced to bring specific ships from the higher end.

I dont think that purple really matter,im a green runner and i can say that with right ships,right strategy…

I expect four people in 11 - 15 ships to be able to handle an 11 - 15 mission. As it is, you are forced to bring specific ships from the higher end.

Some ships (roles) are more effective than others in certain situations, that is a nature of scripted PvE, it is a general understanding and common sense in most MMO games, you always need certain roles to have higher chance of success.

People are looking at PvE as a way to max ship, while intention of PvE is a reward and ship progress is a byproduct benefit, that can or can not be there (one of the reason there is such low synergy gain)

Yes, people use PvE to level ships and have done so since T5 came out, if not before.

But as of yet nobody is interested in treating the problem and instead fixates on the symptoms. If PvE is going to be about credits for levelled ships then we need a new and better way to level the T4 crap.
