This has got to be the most farcical troll post Ive seen in a while, and I read youtube comments.

Damage mitigator? AI shooting at drones instead of you lasts for all of 2 seconds. Also, ‘your own playstyle’ still has nothing to do with the rest of the playerbase who are now going to suffer from the changes.

 

He’s actually right and he’s not alone on that opinion. On the other hand you’re the only one crying like a real kid over this change that was absolutely needed. Just like with the LRF cloak one. Enemies (AI) have eyes, it makes no sense that they don’t shoot at something attacking them.

I cut the size of this post to the important part. Outside of intelligent play this game boils down to two simple factors, Damage input and Damage output. Bots are not terribly intelligent, they always know where you are and will pursue you relentlessly once they’re onto you so your own tactical and strategic choices are very, very limited, and so the best course of action against them in almost every situation is some good old fashioned knock knock.  Bots now factor into this because while they’re shooting your bots, they’re not shooting you so your damage in/out ratio widens in your own favor.

Please don’t accuse someone of trolling just because he has his own opinion.

Seriously, Dev’s, remove P2W Crews.

To all people complaining about the monocrystal blueprint. That blueprint has been there forever, the problem is that now, all the possible blueprints are shown in the workshop.

 

And I don’t see it that imba, you can only get monocrystals paying with artifacts, and you can’t get artifacts easy. You need eiter assemble a squad and farm aliens, or salvage a lot of purple kits. Of course you can salvage with gold and get a load of artifacts but still.

 

And btw, to all people complaining about the secret projects. Those ships are crap. Really crap. They can’t do anything better than their credit counterparts. I’m regretting a lot about having built a Mjolnir.

They hid the player SR so it’d be harder for players to complain about the MM being broken. Almost no one would go after a match and look up the SR of each player in the match.

Developer’s Mentality: Let’s ignore problems and instead cover them up so nobody knows about them.

  • Hiding Low Player Population - first removing tier population bars from the launch menu, second removing entire population number from the main page, second removing population in each hangar from invasion map.

  • Hiding/Ignoring Bad Server Quality - Inaccurate packet loss readings, lack of US invasion servers, lack of good quality SAsian servers due to low population, changing of servers for teams in Invasion

  • Hiding/Ignoring MM problems - Not giving players what is needed to fix MM, Distracting MM problems with the new SR system, removing DSR that would expose bad MM

This is what you call muckraking. Deleting this post shows behavior similar to corrupt politicians.

I mostly agree with u, but I think the remove the skillrating from the mm lobby was a good idea. U have less chance to focus on the high SR enemies and maybe u don’t have “this is over before it started” feeling, when u get a bad team.

Seriously, Dev’s, remove P2W Crews.

No, don’t remove Crews, just add +1 to free for everybody.

There is no huge difference between having 2 crews or 4, specially in the lower levels.

Currently that is P2W a bit, but I think the system is very good.

I think guy, that you don’t realize that the actual SR is Hidden because the MM is actually doing a transition between the Old and the New Formula and it’s just a question a time to let the Values stabilize correctly.

My feedback is absolute positive, except the player number hide.

The MM become better and faster, seem no mixed T3-T4 even if we take the styx. The game size was between 8v8-12v12.

You’re getting 12v12!? WHERE!? WHEN!? I want a part in this! I’ve played roughly 2’ matches, since the patch and have not caught a single match above 8v8.

I mostly agree with u, but I think the remove the skillrating from the mm lobby was a good idea. U have less chance to focus on the high SR enemies and maybe u don’t have “this is over before it started” feeling, when u get a bad team.

No longer showing people online and now stations do not show pilots there. I guess instead of what we asked - more advertisement and try to increase population we have lower population than pre-release and operation “cover up” is in act.
I really liked the game, but that brings me back in memories of a great game, never seen for it’s time and still do not see the same thing, but there are 50-80 players left there. It is 10+ years old though. But yeah, lack of players killed it. No matter how good it was.

Hmm… I’ve a spatial scanner, and even with this module it’s damn hard to find specific blueprints, me & a WPK mate were on BP hunt today, we found a lot of useless random loot, lightcells, and some blueprints. 5 blueprints, 1x Pirate Engine Overcharge, 1x Special Shield Booster M, 1x Mass Shield Generator Mk5 and 2 positrons Mk5.

Additional i think that the monocrystal blueprint is damn rare so the chance to get one by a rare stash is maybe 0.1%

 

Just a Scanner question. Do all loot have same (green) color on scanner, or special ones (alien stash, etc…) are displayed with different style?

I tried scanner in low level sectors but I got really confused, because everything was marked with green bars (fuel cells, ship debris, minerals).

Green = All the loots

Red = Ennemy

Blue = ? (I only spotted this colour once in Fort Muerto, never found what it was)

The scanner show the hidden items blue and those are the good loots. U won’t find them close to the station. Those are bluprints, vouchers and stuffs like that.

We played several T3 PVP yesterday, all of them was at least 8v8 some of them 12v12.

I don’t think the SR remove is temporary. They already calculated the new SR everybody has the new.

I guess they already introduced the required extra fields earlier, and they calculated it in the background in the last few weeks to test, and now they just change it on the interface. The senior players already know each other ingame, so I don’t need to see it before fight (as player). If I’m interested it that much, I can check after the match on the profile.

The population hiding is a really cheap trick, I can promise I won’t stop complaining about that :slight_smile:

About the advertise until they make horrible mistakes, like the BlackFridayPatch and the system is not stable, the advertisement is just waste of money. They already lost a lot of customers with these mistakes. Player install the game, try it, the server goes down, they say this is crap, and delete it, maybe dislike on steam… I’m not talking about the last issue, I’m thinking more about the invasion launch.

They need a stable version finally, proper loadtests, some advertisement, and enough servers at the target market.

Is it me or every patch for the last few months is a try to force us (so-called-arena-players) that just want to play PvP to play PvE/Invasion ? Now they did put some blueprints (like monocrystals) to be found only in invasion and PvE, thus forcing us to play one of the 2, instead of ENJOYING the arena mode and have fun WHILE progressing.

I don’t play invasion except for the crystals, and that is because I wanted a special ship because I already have all the standard ones.

The Matchmaking is actually using the OLD SR Values !
