New active module ‘Spectre’ Field
Creates a field of invisibility for allied ships
The host ship does not become invisible
Affected ships transfer part of their shield charge to the host
The field is identical in properties to the field of the special module ODG ‘Chameleon’

Available to Guard Frigates from Rank 10

Very much NOT like a Guard. I can see a lot of useless pilots just using that to gain some shields and killing their team mates. Godamnit…

When are you going to bring back the counter for pilots online ?

Did you take it away to hide the decline in players playing ?

it is still there, look on attacked sectors page. + there are more players now on average

apart from the troll guard module this patch looks nice. only thing I have to say is when the community says the changing stations price is too expensive for new comers / low ranked pilots that doesn’t mean keep the price the same but bump it up to 800k for the r15 pilots XD that is not cheaper!!

I will have no remorse to use it to survive even if it means sacrifying Allied Interceptors around me.

I don’t think it will be powerful with empire ships. It will just give an harder time to those interceptors ball in t5.

Btw, recon are already spamming micro locator everywhere. I think that thing will be useless unless you are in a squad.

WHAT!! 800K!? What are we, made of credits!? Are you serious!? That’s completely ridiculous!!!

Also, epic nerf to the rank 14 implant. 240 sec is 4 minutes so you can only activate it twice in a 8 minute match, and 3 times in a 12 minute match!! Instead of having it available with each fresh ship.

 

or epic buff?  this implant will have more use when staying alive in sec con for example

I just tested it :

 

  • The Guard is not invisible (excellent thing I would say)
  • The Allies become invisible instantly (Excellent too)
  • The Drain is not so big in T5 (Engineer + Base Shield Regen are compensing really well)

 

The Possibilities with this module are incredible, as well for Defensive Move than for Offensive action.

Well it hurts the new players again. The veterans shouldn’t have a frack to give, 1.6 mil/day to do my dailies is not a problem (even if it sounds like much, it is not when you make 300-400k/battle with nothing to spend the credits on).

Yeah it’s in the patch notes. That’s why i said it’s excellent, it works like a “Taunt”, since the enemies won’t have a target for 5 secs they will mostly be forced to attack the guard.

By veteran i mean people that don’t really need ships anymore. I just need crystals and a bit of loyalty maybe, but not even that. You were also saying that you’re making 3 mil in 1 hour in Invasion. 

I think they should have added one more thing to the Module to prevent abuse and Game breaking action :

And find a little story about the energy diffused by the Phase Shield Core to justify it :smiley:

The only problem I see with the new price tag for changing stations is the contracts. Now you need 1.6 million per day just to change contracts.

 

It is too much.

 

And the problem is that you can only switch stations for free in rank 10 ships or above, so if you are rank 1 to 9 you have to pay credits no matter what in order to change stations. And I don’t want to know how many are they asking in low tiers, if they ask 800k in rank 15.

So to sum this patch up, you want the game to be more grindy or pay with GS? OK.

I don’t think it’s a problem. It’s not like if a guard could flee under 5 sec.

The only problem might come with active mods.

Yeah, with dailies and the tasks. Tasks that, might I add are unavailable on Empire/Fed if I start on the Jericho station! I know, I tried to get there. I ended up having to dock just to get the daily AND the tasks available to me. That’s a minimum of half an hour wasted on zero income just trying to get an extra 2-3mill.

 

Yes, the cash you can make on Invasion is surreal, I had 12mill by the end of… 6-7 hours, just by lollygagging the sandbox and that’s after spending a total of… 3mill to swap stations. To me, that was a healthy alternative to having to waste 2 daily hours just traversing space in order to get to the other stations! I don’t have the time to do that in my life, so I have to do what? Waste MORE GS to get through? Hell no.

 

The only reason I have to spend money on this game is IFF the game is good. The game isn’t good. The game has not changed a bit in the last 6 months. This game has systematically turned everything into P2GL TO THE EXTREME. While that does tend to be the objective of a F2P game, this is getting extremely out of hand. New pilots will see their lives eased, sure, but as soon as they get to the middle of the game, they hit a gigantic planet-sized wall they can only very slowly traverse. Not only that, the game is being optimized to cater SOLELY the top pilots, those that already have everything. And, to my knowledge, that’s precisely NOT how to do things.

Which is like 99.5% of people playing the game. They have made now mk3 and mk4 items luxury ones, because you need to be filthy rich just to switch sides for doing contracts.

 

The rest of the player base shouldn’t suffer because a 0,5% of the players have enough credits and license and premium ships to keep wasting 1,6 millions per day to do all contracts, or just to do the dailies.

Yep, i agree. 

It’s also another decision, 70% of the players probably don’t switch contracts every day since they don’t play more than 2 hours/day. So it doesn’t affect them. It mostly affect people farming the daily crystals tbh. So it’s a choice between crystals and credits now. 

Also RR-50 (11-3) implant bonus not shown in the missile cartridge reload stats.
