interesting, when i open the game it starts updating, once it’s finished and the game goes to the login screen it tells me, my game is out of date. Then i close again and it updates again, only to tell me that my game is out of date. I have now downloaded the update for 4 times and it is still telling me that my game is out of date. Am I the only one? 01313.png

 

Verifying games files did not help.

I dont get the change of the Positron cannon.

How about instead of reducing damage no matter what using horizon, why not make it so at max range the damage is reduced by 5% * Number of horizons. So say you have 2 horizons installed, at max range of attack, the damage is reduced by the full 10%, but say you’re hitting 50% of the max range, (0.05 * 2)/0.5 you get only one of the 5% damage reduction basically.

I dont get the change of the Positron cannon.

The positron cannon used to have the Slow barrel mechanics meaning the Rotation speed of the Aiming cursor of the weapon was slower than other weapons.

Horizon nerf is gonna hurt

 

also, I naver noticed that ions decreased target resists. It says it in the description but they usually have stats so I though tit was just a gimmick. My Ion prometheus might suffer a bit…

I hate you for having Target Tracking Coprocessor in t3 :frowning:

2 of those with mk5 lasers and singurderp becomes t3 version of Mauler xD

Wow. I’m not sure how I feel about the plasma gun buff. Just looking at the stats, it seems like RFB with less spread and faster projectiles. I can say that some RoF and crit builds in T5 were painful before.

 

But hey, gauss is pretty interesting now!

more nerfs…more weapons twidling, when will it ever end… imho if stuff is op the buff the stuff that sucks. nerfs are boring, buffs are sweety! im having a hard time spending time or monies on this game any more since last nights best guns are tomorros weakest gun… show some respect for folks that have grinded your contracks for years getting mods that are now worthless…

can’t log in as well, server is under heavy load.

So they have slowed the missle reloading time even further,  I mean it was bad enough last time they slowed them down …  What effect is my Recon ment to have on anything now ?  … Shall I Lay mines like the rest of the really Skillful pilots ?.. Sorry but thats just boring and this game without decent missle reloading speed like it used to be is getting boring to… 

All this as the Interceptors are over powered as ever and even more so with the increased rate of fire … Not happy at all … :fed014:

This is my first post. Only since a short time I feel I know enough about the game, to contribute in a constructive way. I like, that you make changes. Some changes I cant evaluate, so I dont say anything. While reading this I made up my mind, but Semaphorism was first:

I used the flat reflector plus horizon module to create a high range beam weapon platform. Not its because it might be OP, but because its a viable combination in term of strategic position within the game. Guarding a big area is an important strategic aspect. If the developers come to the conclusion, that the last state might be OP, it might be true, but it might be more important to do damage on long range and less important how much damage you do. Therefor flat damage reduction might be imbalanced too or plain wrong. Instead I would suggest a refined game mechanic, in inceasing the damage reduction over range, but keeping the damage on short range. This will help balancing the game and keeping the variaty of weapon usage (which some forum users already mentioned).

All of the weapons that I currently use got a buff or stayed the same, while the others got debuffs! Very happy about this update.

 

The unguided interceptor missiles… I love them, but they are less effective now. I will have to rely on my RF BLASTER OWNAGE a bit more.

FINALLY got in. Now I get to collect my biomorph case and OH MY 10000 synergy.

 

Its nice that the issue is being solved for everyone.
