It’s just a fact. They will come when they’re ready.

Making a videogame is hard, very hard. If devs say we will have dreadnoughts we will have them, if they can’t make it on time we just can wait, they wont go faster because we spam the forum with senseless whining about dreadnoughts not coming.

There are tons of hours of work behind them, and I rather wait 1 more month to have better content with less bugs.  

 

It’s pretty nice. So insulting each other in the patch thread is totally legal, and it doesn’t get deleted. I didn’t know that.

Can someone explain me how this belongs to the patch?

 

There was literally no insult, it’s just tiring to see people spamming the thread threatening with leaving the game like if anyone cared (BlueSea and LudwighHR are 2 good examples).

By the way if it wasn’t deleted it’s because there isn’t any mod around.

Players that refuse to adapt to the game and prefer to keep playing 1 role out of 9 90% of the time will always complain about stuff killing them because it’s easier to whine about it instead of thinking a way to deal with it. 

 

And don’t mistake me, I’m the first one who think that cruise engine Tacklers are beyond dumb and boring.

First impressions:

 

-Scatter gun need to be shot at near max distance to do significal damage, otherwise it will spread too much. I like that. It doesnt destroy my fps, just darken the screen, I can live with it.

 

-Phaser need to be hold longer to shoot balls than before, but I dont see problem with launching snapshot immediately after ball resulting face explode. Very good, skill based frig destroyer. And #1 teamkiller weapon

 

-Destructor have potential of being “ceptor shaking” or “pocket pulsar” weapon with no self damage, but I would like to see damage numbers even if I dont see enemy ships while my cloud affecting him. Also overheat a bit too fast. If you can live with <2km range, equip curved reflector and enjoy. Note it creates cloud at max range even if beam does not hit anything.

Dreadnoughts are in work and they will be released. As soon as there are more news about their release, it will be announced.

why is it always has to be right before our Sector Conquest cycle :frowning:

There are different time zones so it is difficult to find a frame where it fits everyone.

Previously it was 7 seconds. A 28% nerf.

not sure, i thought it was 7 secs immunity for R14-1, but 5 secs resistance for R14-3; u sure this has been changed? not that i would expect anyone to have other implants than empire in that tier

That is not a nerf, duration of the effect was always 5 second, description was wrong, saying 7 seconds. So you can say that is a bug fix (wrong text)

There are some builds that benefit from J14 more than from E14 (the F14 is useless imho comparing to E14,J14)

I like that game gets translated into yet another language.

Well, at least we know that update v1.0.15 will bring Dreadnoughts out. Will it?

The real question is: One week or two weeks of waiting? Or more?

 

Anyway, new weapons are nice.

I will surely test them.

 

Also, with the new hot-fix FPS issue in the hangar and slow loading textures are gone.

I am not sure for 800000 credit transitions, such as Eden - Station, when you undock and when you use Station Eden warp gate.

I always got connection with the server lost message. Chat box as well. I loaded anyway, but it took me 2 minutes. I thought, that my game had crashed.

As for graphics 100% usage, I am not sure, but I think I didn’t have it in my case.

I also noticed (before the hot-fix)  significant FPS drops in hangar, like Empire and Fed, but most severe was the Jericho hangar. I had 20 frames per second.

Now it’s fine. I hope…

fps and textures are still broken for me, that’s when the problems started, after the hot-fix.

 

edit: nevermind, problem fixed. 

i tried destructor on guard and it’s quite nice… It’s good in supporting team getting beacons etc, so u can find a use of it but to me it should have better range to be very viable coz dps ris not that great…

 

Phaser is really nice and fits perfectely on command… It’s a really clever versatile weapon, very good for supporting team :wink:

I think, like u do, the main problems are the drone poplers, and fighters flying away at 700m/s. My complain is becouse now we have 1 more autoaim stuff, whats next?

 I will have to see what i think of it and if they didn’t fix framerate drop from scatter gun, ima be mad. 

It would have a bigger range if we would not have Prem Jericho T4/5 Guards - those have 3 CPU modules, and already can push 8km range on a destructor.

Phaser has devastating potential, but extremely hard application in real PvP situation (well i guess it can clear up beacons in Beacon Hunt mode :D) if it become apparent that it is much easier to use than what expected of it, it definitely will get nerfed in some areas.

The problem with scatter gun is it has more dps than my mk5 rf blasters + auto aim. PLUS it has faster projectile speed. I will have to see what i think of it and if they didn’t fix framerate drop from scatter gun, ima be mad.
