Anything about the other R14 destroyers being shown with this broadcast?
Okay because there exist some inconsistence in your statements:
It’s 100% increased time TO overheat. Meaning:
11s firetime until overheat with 2s cooldown at overheat—>
22s firetime + 2s CD with that.
While useful, all the 4th options are meh after looking at them.
To resources: If I got the data right from my (bugged) client, we will have 28 days of these 5 thingie tasks, meaning 140/720. So even when we would get 10 each day, this mean alone 2! month of events done.
Not to say the ridiculous PvP event again(play/hunt destroyer fufu). I hate those as again many yolo into you as destroyer and you will likely see the same with warping destroyers…

Well it seems like it is instead
11second fire until overheat, 0 second cooldown.
For the electrum, today we get 15 at once instead of 5. AND you can get up to 8 more everyday from sending your destroyers to the 6 hours daily mission.
But the problem is that you not only need 720 electrum, you also need 360 beryllium and 360 neodium.
It’s time to overheat not reducing cooldown time.
Either your client show it false in your language, or your interpret it false. My english showed clearly increase to overheat.
Neo isn’t the problem(360 raw + 33 plates), but berry is it, not to say the 720 thingies.
15 thingies? Mean again 48 days straight grind. Not to say you need 1 R8+R11+daily PvP task to do that.
Well, I use French client so I thought it was a mistake when they said “Cooldown increased by 100%”.
But Papitas said it too.
What’s weird, is that in French we already have a good description for saying “time to overheat increased”, and they didn’t use it.
Anyway it’s much more logical then a 100% cooldown decrease.
But then, Sirius also have a “enhanced shared coolers” for motors slots, isn’t it totally overkill?
Neo is a problem cause I have none
Anyway if the event last a month, with everyday a 15 electrum reward + 3-5-8 more electrum with the daily mission, we may reach the 720 if they add some kind of missions for the weekends with huge rewards.
But I hope that they won’t make the missions impossible to complete at the end, like killing the defiler with randoms.
>>“Cooldown increased by 100%”<<
Sorry, but even that would be true. CD would be INCREASED according to this, not decreased.
>>But then, Sirius also have a “enhanced shared coolers” for motors slots, isn’t it totally overkill?<<
I asked me the same question. And again: We already got a cooler, which have a way higher value doesn’t it? So why using it then? The only way to use that would be to use standard+sirius to avoid stacking, but then 4th bonus would make more sense AND with the firetime already very high for destroyers, the benefit isn’t so huge so why bothering with it?
Yeah I know this is so weird and unclear. Unless someone who crafted it give us a proper answer, there are no way to know how it works.
And even like that, I feel that Antares is much more reliable in the end. Because the only difference is one single slot, but comes at the cost of a bad 4th buff and really specific special module.
It’s funy to see that the r11/r8 special module is actually more powerful then the r14 special module.
Take stabilizers : Okey, 20% permanent damage buff and 5% range. But you can’t move.
Oh wait, Empire generator give 20% permanent damage buff, and you can still move (so you can easily compensate the 5% range buff) AND you can also get more speed or shield regen.
Weird.
The only thing I could see a use of ‘standing still for a time’ would be to fire a giant cannon or something like that. Not just to increase your damage/range a bit… Destroyers aren’t snipers.
Yeah. But let’s wait and see Empire next. Maybe it’ll have different specials too.
Wait, I thought of something :
What happens when you are in stabilizer but next to a blackhole? It could be useful in some way if you aren’t attracted and take no damage
On the other hand, if it disrupt your special, then it’s totally useless.
But still, the old “guard” option is much more reliable.

Lol that will creat a real black hole

330+216 (from a gage if you send R8+R11) for 27 days. 546/720 total

My (spanish) client says: “Mejora el tiempo de enfriamiento de las armas en un 100%”. Which in english it would be translated to: improves cooling time/cooldown of weapons by 100%. We, translators translate strings from english to our native language, so if english is wrong, the rest will be. This doesnt seem to be the case
Sirius cooler is better than shared cooler…by like 10% when both are mk4. IDK where you get that sirius cooler is worse…check the store. …Aaand cooldown bonus is awful for current weapons.
IDK, if it’s instant cooldown, it may have weird interactions with meson (like all the time max firerate).
But well, 4th bonuses are really… Bad. FFunny how we have a EM spread reduce, when the EM gun have a spread of 0.
Just a note:

Don’t know what you do, but translating from one language into another and back then result in most cases difference.
And to be sure: Trust never a translator.
I only trust the base code provided by the programmers as THOSE know what was intended.
A) Translator can make mistakes.
B) Back translating can yield errors too.
C) Context
To cooler: Haven’t check it complete. May have made an error to comparing it with mk 3/4 version.
And 9 slots is a bit sad. Wished they would have 10 as the r11 only had 8.

You do know that English client is just a translation by some body, from Russian? Since you wanted to point pot the meaning in English client and that you do not trust translations, i figure you got confused somewhere along the lines.
Fact is that we already have a translation for “time to overheat” and it is applied everywhere but here.
So this is most likely to be a different effect and someone somewhere did a mistake.
@Kost: Yes I know that russian is the base language of this game because gajin is the company behind it(with russian devs).
So why don’t cinn answer/take a note ‘Guys I will ask to avoid further confusion’?
Would be the easiest.

I checked the string, in english it says: “Weapon cooling rate increased by 100%.” Its clear (its not talking about overheat) and Its been like that since 2013. I would say people can make a lot of mistakes too. Why dont you wait and see with empirical tests?
