I consider “Slayer of Immortals” a tally of how many totally broken matches people have been forced into.

 

Ideally, nobody should be able to get that medal outside of a custom game.

This is how fast they went previously as well …

Nah the projectile speed was bigger, now I can destroy my own torp by flying next to it :confused:

It wasn’t - I ran into my own torp a few times before I figured they were slower than my Engineer

Ships of 10-11 ranks now have reduced probability of getting into battle with ships of ranks 13-15

 

Make that guaranteed or do not trow us a bone and when we jump to fetch trow 2x 3 man R15 squad vs 6 random R10-11 against us “because the people in que were low”

Added a new medal: Slayer of Immortals

To receive the medal you have to destroy a ship 3 ranks higher than yours

 

 

Official statement that mixed tiers WILL STAY in tis game. - game kill for me.

Free synergy gained by premium ships is now increased to 20% of total earned synergy

Make that 25% and when doubled the 50% is not as 100%, but still not as 10%.

Armament
Some weapons’ range now scales with ship tier:

T1: range is 90%

T2: range is 100% (basic range)

T3: range is 115%

T4 range is 125%

T5 range is 135%

 

 

WHICH weapons are those ? My shrapnel cannons are still on 1750 in T3 and in T2.

 

Same goes for the ion emitter.

 

BTW !!! Change the name either of the gun or the ECM module. I got confused there !

 

Ion Emitter:

Basic range increased by 15%

Fun fact; I got “Slayer of Immortals” by killing a Hercules Arrow (Rank 4) in a Hawk (Rank 6).

 

I don’t think that medal works the way they claim it does…

Same, the bonus range on weapons depending on tiers is not working for T3 weapons.

And I’m still doing the same amount of synergy on my premium ships, more free synergy but x2 synergy is not activs for premiums?

I’ve played several F2P games and what you’re saying is generally the same thing vets say in all of them.

 

Devs can’t keep everyone happy. Their top priority will always be to attract new players who will spend money on the game.

Massively failing that one cause they’re catering for the end-game pilots.

i do hope you guys change the shop back so it will ask if you want to sell Purble or Blue items that are installed in the ship.

in bsgo this did get lots of guys very angry when they sold high lvl guns by accident. same can happen here when evryone want to clear Storage room fast and get back to battle.

Synergy

Now, upon achieving maximum synergy, ships earn double the amount of synergy.

Synergy gain is still capped to the same low amount per ship per game, so this is not going to increase free synergy gain except for in games you don’t reach the cap.

I was just saying it’s a shame when people complain about a F2P game, when they haven’t even spent a dime to support its developers.

I’m one of those who spend quite a bit of money on it - partially because I needed to in order to form a corporation and partially because I simply wanted to show some support for the game. This was before 0.9.0 I would add. I have the financial means to not really worry about what I spend on my gaming activities IF I had the desire to spend more money;

  • I still miss 2 of the pirate packs.
  • I’d pay good money for my corporation logo in the game.
  • I’d pay a lot of GS to paint all my ships, if I was able to do so permanently as I am lazy and don’t want to repaint my ships all the time.
  • I’d buy additional premium ships if I felt they still had some value in terms of progress and bringing something which normal ships do not. And I’m not talking about combat performance, I’m happy operating on an equal basis there.
    However, the latest changes (squad size reduction specifically) have gone directly against what the community has asked for. I know - because I compiled a chunk of the feedback that was send to the developers - a huge document detailing exactly what people asked for with links to all topics supporting these suggestions.

As a result, I am extremely reluctant to spend any additional money, even though I desperately want to see this game succeed. The only way I feel comfortable spending more is if and when I have the feeling that the developers are genuinely working on changes that the community has actually asked for - and are man enough to admit to mistakes and revert them before they become bigger issues than we can deal with.

For this patch, what should have happened;

  • Synergy Changes to Premium Ships - The option to purchase free synergy with credits. Possibly under class or tier limitations, but something.
  • Synergy Requirement reduction at higher tiers. From rank 8-9 onwards, the grind becomes increasingly more prohibitive. This is a good mechanic, but has gone a little too far under the current system.
  • Match Making - The removal of mixed tiers, even if it’s only to throw the community a bone and give it a shot.
  • Customisation - The competion of this game mechanic as the current implementation is half done. Including permanent options and an option to buy ‘1 day’ customisation for credits.
  • Weapons - Hit effects / Sound for the ‘bubble gun’ are extremely high on the wish-list of players and it is unclear why these were not included to begin with.
    These are just some of the smallest/most desired requests - in terms of adding new content there are a wide range of requests, some of them which would take very little development time.

Hidden update:

 

Pirate and DLC ships are now so terrible that the Dev team has chosen to conceal them from sight! Players now cannot research DLC ships and must blindly purchase them, whereupon they shall be left awestruck at what a waste of money they were.

Shouldn’t there be a poll somewhere around here on the patch?
