Who liked the old damage-changers?

By damage changers you mean kinetic/EM/thermal ammunition options? To that, I say absolutely loved the old choices. There was no reason to dumb the game down and give fewer options. That’s not progress. That’s regress.

  • I tried for 1 hour and 30 minutes to get a T3 video but it kept pitting me against Nodachis, Garms and T4 premiums vs my Phobos …

  • The one pure T3 that I had, I sucked so hard I deleted that video :stuck_out_tongue:

  • T2 does not have Critical Ammo, Crit CPU and for lower rank T2 ships, no crit implant I think

  • watch the video and Imagine if I had access to those …

This exactly why hails plasmas were one of the most versatile weapons in t2.

Completely off topic, but how do you get those enemy damage indicators on the right side of your reticle?

I am bummed about the squad size reduction. I thought 4 was too small. I was hoping to see an increase to 8 or no change at all.

thanks for proving my point. you did 1000 damage to the first dude, 3000 damage to the next

 

then it took you over 10 shots to kill a tackler… not to mention the guy didnt even hit you in over 15 seconds… normally you’d be dead :\ especially since you dont dodge the entire game.

 

i can show you how to shoot ducks in a barrel too… doesn’t prove anything.

 

damage totals: 2000, 4000, 2000, 3000, 5500, 2000

 

however, NONE of your targets were actually dodging… in fact they were all engaged in 1v4s with your team…

 

this example doesn’t pass mustard, not even watching the rest of this noobshoot.

 

those damage ticks are useless btw. the highest i saw was a 2719 damage tick, only once, rest below 2000 and 1000… and those guys don’t even have resistances… or heals…

 

not to mention you missed over half your shots, even on some inties that were barely dodging.

 

oh and that tackler at the end that you were hitting for 358 damage a shot and they you gave up LMAO.

 

looking at your damage portions as i outlined above, you did the least amount of damage to those targets from your team, yet you got the kills…

 

hence this is a bad example of killstealing… would be nice to get a damage per round stat. seems like you did no more than 30-50k damage that round (equivalent to 2-4 kills, not 10). just for the record you can easily do 100-150k using other weapons… or 255k on LRF like i did without breaking a sweat. 50k seems rather pathetic.

 

i mean… there is nothing in the video that shows the ‘alpha damage’ of this weapon as described…

btw, update on grind times: i underestimated.

 

grinding from r6 to r9 faction takes 20 hours, not 15 as i estimated.

 

therefore 55 hours to reach r7, 120 hours to reach r10.

 

of course, i don’t know how long the synergy grind will take yet. this is just faction grind.

 

175 hours, at 3 hours per day is 58.33 days. at 2 hours it’s 87.5 days.

 

that’s 2-3 months with a license and DLC just to reach R10…

 

assuming you play EVERY day, otherwise it’s 3-4 months.

 

and for people with worse stats, that’s 4-5 months…

 

excessive. not to mention the experimental mods which will takes months.

 

good job, i just quit. have a nice day.

I think it would have worked better as an assault plasma cannon with splash damage, or something along those lines

Reducing squad sizes because of possible “kill squads” in the lonesome higher tiers does Not really address that issue correctly imho.

Also,increasing squad sizes would have helped soloers way more indirectly.

It would create bigger Stones being cast against each other.

I always thought 3 ppl is needed Minimum for a squad to be effective and turn the tides,so i also dont believe in some magic opness of 4 ppl. All i read about t5 problems indicate rather Problems in Player progression. There was no need for this nerf.

Also it really disappoints a lot after all the waiting that the ignorance of the Community is even topped with yet another stunt like this.

Please re-think your Lobby System instead and only correct squad sizes upwards,not down.

It is hard as it is to keep players regular or introduce new players to this devolving Meta.

Thank you for your concern, as it has been noted before we are working on this issue.

The fire rotation on the mortar is still a problem in repositionning situation.

If at least, it wasn’t overheating when It can’t shoot…

 

And if you could expand the loot table in PVE mission, it should be great, I don’t know what I will do with my 4 military Valkiry system actually.

Is this really necessary to mix Rank 8s with Rank 11s?

As it was mentioned before, for now matchmaker is looking for the ships from ±3 ranks in the que. This is a measure that helps reducing wait time and also an incentive for players to progress. We are aware of our pilot’s concerns regarding matchmaker, but for now I do not have an additional information to share with you, though we are working on the issue!
