and equipment might not be that bad. not only do you get mk2 and mk4 kits, there’s no chance to fail salvage. needs some testing though. but the icons of the upgrade packs should be those of the weapon, with a green/purple plus sign on it in the lower right. like a shortcut arrow on a windows icon or something… otherwise looting doesn’t feel quite as interesting…

You can play with your friend, but as you have T5 ships in your battleslots matchmaking tries to find a good match for you, as T5 is a bit less populated you are waiting for the match longer.
You can always customize your HUD the way you want now.
Autobuy does not work due to discontinuation of ammo, you’ve bben using. As we have mentioned before there will be no Mks, and will be just one level for all the ammo. You have used up the ammo you had and now you will just need to buy new one.

No we can’t.
I cannot change the size, shape, colour or vibrancy of the lead marker. I cannot change the positioning of my health/energy bar systems. All I can do is change the cosmetic details of the crosshair and its colour. Oh, and its transparency.
That is not “customising the HUD”. That’s customising PART of the HUD. A part, I might add, that the vast majority of players thought was just fine three patches ago before you started mucking about with the aim-assist and accidentally deleted it.

Hmm, nope.
Closest is Cyan, but on a careful inspection - holy sh*t there are cyan backgrounds on some maps!
And there are red, and there are white backgrounds. So all it’s left is magenta. Oh wait, that’s a dark view blocker to where you’re aiming and it makes your eyes scream. Any intense lighting source (read: your monitor emitting light) colored in the family of blue-purple-magenta hurts your eyes and brain - architectural study. It basically doesn’t let you focus on the color and you soon lose your concentration to what you’re doing. On top of that, trying to force yourself to see it will have chances of popping some blood veins in your eyes (this is for real).
And this is top notch hilarious:

We were all in T3 ships MAX. The game was a full T5. It happens with 4 man squads, and with 3 man squads. We tried 2 man squads, got us a maxed out T4 game. They didn’t buff squads back to 4, they nerfed them to 2 or solo.
Before i would play in relatively pure T3 matches, eventually either T2 or T4 mixing. Fine with that. But now I NEED T5 to be on par. I’m still expecting that match where i queue solo with T3s in the line and have T5s on one of the teams…
As it was mentioned before: the stronger your ships are, the stronger will be your opponents. You can always see the MM ranks you are being matched with, when going into fight.
While I dont care since I can fight against wolves, do you think it’s ok for that dvergr knight user to fight against Anacondas and Crus S? T3 battles seems be more balanced.
My own testing echoes Astraal’s findings; flying with 3-4 T3 pilots got us matched against pure T5 or T4/T5 hybrid every single time. Two of us together got put into T3 with a bit of T4 cheating their way in (and one match where we had T2 and T4…).
Pretty sure this comes under “just what nobody wanted”. Flying a 3-man team is now less appealing because I have to fly T5 to do it, and I’m not even properly set up in T4 yet!

HUD:
Customisation doesn’t give people what they want / need. There are some nice features in there, but the big issues - crosshair and shot leading indicator - are still not right. They should have been fixed as priority.
MATCHMAKING:
3-4 man Squads don’t exist outside of T5 anymore, even if you’re trying to fly as Tier 3.
PROGRESSION:
Everyone who didn’t buy as many Mk III modules as they could before the switchover feels cheated because it’s now harder and more expensive to get them than it was before. Mk IV is also more expensive to obtain than it was before, leading to *gasp* increased grind! Which, I shall add, nobody wanted.
Overall… another D- effort.

Our T3 NASA squad managed to club down a T4 - T5 side, but mainly due to the T5s rushing solo. When we faced a united, intelligent T5 opposition we got mauled to hell.
Antibus, please can you explain the reasons behind changing the speed related implants to lower the overall speed of the ships ?

The reason behind changing speed related implants is to give our players a smoother movement speed - there was quite a jump when moving from tier 4 to tier 5, and tier 5 was much more intese. The speed reduction allowed us to make the dynamics of the game more stable.

Thank you for the reply Antibus. I always felt the game ‘peaked’ for speed at T3 / T4 though - Although I do not have many T5 ships yet, and until yesterday I only had 2 of the subfactions at rank 15 so cannot comment on the overall speed of T5
^ i laughed pretty hard and the first thing that came to mind is he was in a t2 guard lol but do they even have that there? lol no disrepect to you jrisom, but really? the engage for it now is 3500 plus…
My blue Mass Propulsion Inhibitor on a Crus S has 2600m range. Tormentor with a green one gets 2200m range. Those aren’t ships with a range bonus. Before it was what, 1200m range? Unless it’s a fought after beacon where it’s chaotic, it’s was easy to stay out of that range unless you’re an interceptor.

Mate, you’re not following the script. You’re supposed to whine at how overpowered singularity is and how guards desperately need buffs to deal with it.
Actually I deal pretty well with singularities now. ECM - can’t shoot me for 8 seconds or if you shoot my engineer you will face the same faith.
Try hitting me with my 699m/s cov Ops with your aim jammed and your projectiles go slow 
But yeah, I got your point. Guards are too weak now. Why did they reduce the pulsar range ? It should be equal to the engine inhibitor (~4Km radius) and go through rocks. Some more damage will not hurt, because If I get my pulsar on interceptors do not die unless I hit them twice with my main weapons and that sucks. I want PvP guard to be like blackwood guard wave 1.

Then what is the point of grinding and “making yourself better” Meaning purple T3 for example and still facing T5 ? Why don’t one just screw module upgrades until T5 ?
It is the norm for people to go R1-R15 in 1 line and have no other ships anyway.
And it is way easier to get from T3 blue to T5 Green than to perfect yourself and get T3 purple. In both cases you are facing T5.
See where that is wrong on every level of “progression” ?
I really dont feel like writing much, yet I do beacuse I liked this game once so much.
To be honest the game lost more or less all its fun.
- Hud:
Its OK, the new lead-marker is not very visible and i cant see an option to change it. A preview screen would helped a lot.
The Number of Damage shown if you do a critical hit is by far to big. Just change it and make an “!” behind the number.
- Ship Balance:
Its bad.
a) OP Guards everywhere with a hilarious range of their modules.
b) Speed Nerf, besides Antibus´ Statement it wasnt needed at all. (Maybe I do a video with Evil in the evening just to show that a guard can outrun an Inty) Inties are weak enough and now even more easy to hit. Is the Dev team a bunch of Frigate fetischists?? Inties still lack EHP and (now) Speed. Useless to play them. Still no 1v1 counter against 90k+EHP Guards.
c) Survival-Module CD highend (like EB) is like streamlineing the game for PPL who dont want to learn and get more skilfull, read dumbing down a notch more.
d) Making Interceptors even weaker in terms of weapons is completely contrary to that what can be experienced on the battlefield. Why???

Economy:
Really bad. On the other hand im very fascinated how you achive it every single time to make this game even more a grind.
You guys really dont have a sense of shame, do you?
a) Pay2Win is now effective: FIVE TIMES the artefacts for GS-Breakdown? Thats way too much. Why not your 1.5x like with income even 2.5 times would be OK, but now its clearly P2W.
b) MKIII upgrades are off the charts: It took me about 2 Months to get Legion on Lvl 12 and I lost all that grind by buying 4 T5 modules. I calculated that on the given contracts I could buy ONE new T5 mod every 3-4 days. The incentive to even pick those jobs is totally gone. T5 is endgame, sure. but I should be able to at least get one Mod after a day of battle, like if I do the full contracts I should get one module. The current way is discouraging.
c) General income sink: No more money on the contracts, Sending Upgrade-Kits to the warehouse for money, no more loot that breaks into credits, so you cant even get par with the costs of ammunition if you win, scrap loot is just a joke. someone remembers the good times when a precursors chest gave you 120k? Overall its a lot and just… more… grind.
Matchmaker:
a) T3 ships in T5 battles. What a bad call. I just can conclude that the devs dont play their own game. Otherwise they must have seen that this is the worst possible idea.
b) I hate those guys which rush trough the tiers ruining on a regular base the game for the vets. Its homemade (R15 Implant etc.)
And its somehow not their fault, since the game teases one to do it.
A very promising patch turned out to be a huge disappointment.
