Yeah I think you hit it right on the head of the nail. I always enjoy flying in a squad, but when only 2 people are online from your corp, it kinda makes it impossible. After two or three t4 games with 4 minutes waiting times, I just get bored. Hopefully once they release the game it will get more players active.
Are you sure it is Client side and not Pilot side where the issue exists? Care to read patch notes?
emm… save your sacrasem for the devs Kostyan… the accuracy has been fixed yes…your right on that one, but that was neva the issue for me. but the aim/crosshairs/retickle is. still almost inviseble, espatialy when lots is going on and its sucks
The reticle is a larger problem then most will admit. Its extremely frustrating to not be able to see what or where youre launching mortars. I feel like the devs dont even play their own game, this is a blatant issue and needs to be fixed! In addition, I play with many people who used to play War Thunder, and now play SC way more almost exclusively. This tells me that you really have something here. It disappointing to see such little issues go unfixed for weeks and makes the playerbase feel ignored.
What I’ve been wanting for some time now: A big arrow from your cursor to the predictor reticle. Apart from bombs, health and such, where to aim is probably the most important bit of information the HUD has to convey.
As we have stated before reticule situation is going to be fixed in the upcoming patch.
As for being bored… we are prepairing something interesting, wait for our announcements
It shouldn’t be fixed in the next patch. If it’s a bug, it should be fixed ASAP, not “wait another week cause we have things to do elsewhere”. There was no game to present on that Russian E3, therefore, the devs should have focused on the game. In fixing it, improving it and so forth. If the patch was ready, why postpone it for another week? This is what irks me the most about their attitude.
As for being bored, this next patch presents… Dreadnoughts. Because it’s the sole thing missing from the game, at this point. So… Were they thoroughly tested? Were the matches tested to provide a layer of balance in them when put together with 12 LRFs on the opposing team? Are those ships themselves, balanced with eachother? Granted we still know nothing about them or the game modes they’ll participate in, but considering how the Matchmaking system is set up (random, random, random), there is a high chance non-corp pilots will get dragged into these tussles at random times in any match.
Do try to understand… the playerbase has had enough of the shenanigans being pulled in this game. Despite the game still being in beta (or so it’s claimed), don’t you think it’s about time to stop being childish and treat their customers AS customers and not as gutter dwellers?
A thing that went from an annoyance to really pissing me off (like posted a few pages ago by neocodex):
So many PPL go in battle with only one T4 ship and filling up the rest of slots with T2s. They are quite useless in T4 matches and those players become a burden to the team. Especially in Capture the Beacons. Most likely these are new players who try rush through the Implants to get a rank 15. As I said before this is a homemade problem with the R15 implant bonuses.
Put them into R9, which is easier to achive so players dont feel to rush through the ranks and piss off anybody else.
Also the measly +10% more synergy (I guess its the favorite pick for PPL which want MOAR ships) feel like nonexistent in terms of Grind for T4+ ships, so no fear that it might cut your income (by the way: Is it additional to the synergy cap. per battle or already included?).
On a regular basis I discover that those Players dont have the experience how to properly fly and fit a ship. Example: Random Player setup: Grizzly, Dagger AE and Dwarf 2. Even IF he picks the Grizzly (Engi in Team seems always useful if the player has at least a bit of brain left) he has no Aura Heals/Stations or dont know how to use them (like pressing the button ONCE).
I know it sounds crazy… but those cases happen more and more often, and it sickens me.
I dont know what the community can do about it… i guess nothing… so maybe its up to the devs to explain the Aura-Modules better… Im even willing to help with a description in english and german if this helps.
On the other hand: That was never needed before: Pre 9.0. Ive seen a not healing healer all 100 Battles, now it feels like its every second… Did you put some odd tones in the background that suck the gamers brains out???
The other problem is, if T1s squad up with T4s… the effect is the same. I just hope that those squads get roflstomped that hard, that they rethink their ship-setups (like Killsquads for the good of the community :Dwop ).
Fun Fact: You already implemented a Tier minimum in Customs… please transpose it to Sector conquest.

I jjst think the current system makes new players think this game is all about a rush to t5.
I mean the concept of different tiers for different skill levels we had when we started is now missed.

Yes. I think the reasons for this behavior are the R15 implant and the synergy-grind-ships.
Many Players might have played WoT where the “Rush to T5” (respective Tier 8-10 in WoT) is viable and useful (more income).
But this game isnt WoT. If you want to compete you need at least 3 different ships (of the same Tier ofc.!) in your Hangar to adapt to different situations, while in WoT you only use one Tank for a match. Maybe they havent realized that yet. One more reason for not allowing players to queue if their ships have a Tier-difference > 1
Yes, it seems like those players don’t even care about their efficiency, stats and wins. They just want to progress to T5 asap (for no apparent reason), and the kill squads they face there are just “obstacles” they have no power over, and it doesn’t seem they even care about it.
~ It is similiar to how I play some other mp games myself, which I am not as invested into. I know I could improve by joining a clan, but I don’t want to, because I don’t play that often and don’t want to invest too much at this time, so I am just having solo pug fun, or with a friend at most. ~
They don’t care about “competing”, they are just “grinding it” and ignore the competitive corporation aspect of the game. But this will be a long grind if they are getting stomped over and over again. Came to this conclusion when I read global chat messages like “how am I supposed to level my t4 ship if those NASA hackers just kill my frigate in 3 seconds”.
I do blame sinergy system for this. It really increased T3 and T4 play, but ruined overall quality and player skill level in these tiers. Before you could just not bother with it, but now you “have to” or else you’re wasting your time flying a maxed sinergy ship, the game forces you to progress, since even ships are cheaper and everybody want those R15 implants (worst design choice ever). This is good for longterm player activity trough different tiers, but I prefered before when higher tiers were mostly skilled players, things like that never happened before. And this will keep happening now (as more and more new players join the game with release).
