was about to say previously it was tied to ROF but recently it wasn’t. Patch says it was a bug.

So no more nuke clearing beacons on realistic …

those nuke graphics are downright UGLY and annoying. just saying.

Technically, they still can. The DoT might ensure it, might not…

Sad to see there were no loyalty changes…They are needed in my eyes.

T3 mk2 Nuke stats:

6800 dmg explosion

1021 dmg per second for 10 seconds (cloud dmg)

Just tried a few games with the new patch. Got three things to say:

  1. LAG
  2. Everybody camps. And I mean absolutely everybody. Most are LRF anyway so… I self-destructed as captain because I was bored out of my mind. Suicided out of the next two battles as well because it was unbearable. Even just flying into the enemy team doing nothing took a while to get me killed because they needed to wake up first.
  3. LAG

Awesome. Gonna play something else.

Modules increasing rate of fire now also increase heating speed

 

Could some dev answer to my answer ?

 

Does this also concern the Overdrive of Gunships ? or the rank 11 Federation implant that increases rate of fire ?

Managed two whole games before I tried to hang myself sue to the immensley boring game … Oh and fat too many LRF’s, all I can hear is beep beep beep xxxx beep !!!

 

Im not even going to ask them to fix anything, or suggest anything as Im done with this game

Hmm, lots of frigates in this recon match. won in the end by 28/6 or so :smiley:

Suicide and Nuke were always a valid tactic. I really had no problem with it. The nuke nerf could have been done in two explosion radii, one with big damage, one with smaller. Same could be done for EM Torps.

 

Did I mention, that all unguided missiles could be simply named Rockets? I am always confused.

 

I don’t have much lag, but if I have it, it really is unbearable, especially if your weapon slows down and depends on hitrate.

I can compensate a bit by playing layed back with a positron tho, but you cannot hit faster targets anymore.

It is annoying if it happens, especially sometimes it seems your weapon does not recover, and you keep shooting slow-mo, while unaffected shoot quite normally. I already had this effect back then with RFP, where it just lost like triple firerate for no reason until end of game.

 

EM Torps seem to have replaced LRF mines a lot. While I see no problem with EM Torps on Guards and Engis, obviously, they do annoy me in combination of the tankyness of LRF, and their sheer overusage by people who seem to be frightened to move, even if the next popping up beacon is 100m next to them in beacon hunt. I do respect specialists on LRF tho, and hell, the Recon is fun to fly now.

 

I have no problem with fast Fed Guards. Top Speed fits might be good fighter hunters, but Guards can be now really either heavy blocks, or moving Interdictors with their slowing field. Empire Guards can tank unbearably much. The only problem with Frigate and Nuke Metagames I had was the constant resupply, both in respawn, not them being fast or damaging. Losing teams cannot recover very often, so the respawn timer might be also a good idea to brainstorm about.

 

Really missing some help for adaptive shield, it’s okay that I have to imagine the number in the fitting window, but ingame, some icon or effect would be nice.

Especially because the tooltip with maximum speed always keeps me wondering, how much speed that really is? My flight speed? My afterburner top speed? Etc.

So, played 3 matches. Saw roughly 20-30 LRFs on the field on both sides. I do hope this is just a casual thing because this patch really did not affect Jericho LRFs THIS much…

All it takes is a couple of topics titled

LRF seems easy enough to rank up on the way to getting a guard … so that could be it.
