rofl @ T3 Grim: 50% heating decrease, 6% crit, 7% weapon damage… :\ 1 less engine slot, but base speed is higher than other ecms… and a cpu slot… and 3 hull slots. lmao :smiley:

 

use with pulse laser… :\ amazing… only 70$…

 

what they did was give it 1 less slot, like all R8s, but its an engine slot, which means little… and they didn’t rebalance the ship modifiers to compensate… nice. so it’s basically like an R9 with an extra ship modifier.

No, closest point to all three drones. Have to time it with their orbits.

can’t remember, but you were doing engineer support. not sure why that matters. efficiency was prob high due to all the assists.

btw armadillo doesn’t work with flares vs stasis or something… used flares 5 seconds before… still get engine disabled…

 

that’s not lag… although it happens frequently, 3 seconds after using a survival module…

or how about this one? last enemy to die, was about 1km in front of me… he dies (suicide i guess), and the cloud appears 100m in front of my face :slight_smile: wonderful hahaha… only 900m difference… :smiley:

prometheus can get what, 800 capacitor? only other way would require you to take the R7 fortis mod for more cap.

 

even then you could only get it to 1000 or so, with some 190 energy regen. or 800 cap, 210 regen.

 

yea… 1 cap slot. even R7 katana can do better than that.

 

has an extra hull slot but 2 less cap and 1 less shield than a prometheus x.

and then you’re at 200 m/s… as fast as a frigate lmao ;p with like half the EHP (when diff is up, otherwise 1/4-1/3rd the EHP) and less DPS… heheh…

Warpgate collision no longer destroys enemy ships. There goes my awesome streak of killing captains. 

U have done more reduction on the frigate launcher missile, but how is possible that i was destroy with 3 missile launched in 10 sec ? !!!

Stop to change weapon/ability every 3x2 or i will take in consideration to change game now with the command ships is nosense play

As much as I enjoy such extensive trolls, it becomes clear that the changes in this patch (which are indeed good), are in the current state of the game not worth mentioning.

 

That said, we still have a problem with interceptors and fighters. We still have a Problem with the Energy usage. and above all: We have Problems with the ship layouts and the Matchmaking.

 

  1. How can it be that ships in T3+ are missing mod-slots, like kite, Eagle without capacitor, Sprit w.o. Hull? WTF?? The list goes on…

We really need a fix for that, its unbearable! Here is an idea: Make one of the 3x slots an omni-slot were you can put any mod. You limited our choices in terms of build yet again, counter that at least with one free slot.

On the other hand: Why not grant an omni-slot in addition for ALL tiers? So a rank 9 ship has 8 slots, R11 9 slots, R12+ 10 slots (dont know about the layouts in lower tiers, but you get the idea). Wouldnt be such a game changer…  

 

  1. MM takes so friggin long to find a Match in T4+ what happened? Why are so many 12v12 so broken unbalanced, feels like putting all squads and good players in one team… Maybe its hard to balance since DSR is not a good measurement of ELO.

More importantly, why would you want to fly them if FRIGATES can outrun them!

Oh, yes, I forgot. Interceptors should have at least the option to achive a speed of 500 easily and without the need of using too many speed mods.

why would you want to fly command with 1/4-1/3rd of the EHP of a frigate, and just as slow? lol… whole mod system needs revert… i doubt a rebalance can fix this mess…

A complete rebalance can easily fix all the problems.

But a complete rebalance is a very touchy subject if the devs don’t do it properly(Read: Don’t reimburse all ships & mods)

Somewhat of a complete rebalance happened in 9.4. And just look at this mess. 

Frigs are completely out of proportion: Speedy, Tanky and Punchy at the same time, wtf?

Especially if you take mixed tiers in account: My Grizzly-MK II can outrun, outgun and outtank a Katana S period but same is also valid for Lance Bartle i.e.

It is broken long before this patch.

What me bothers on a long term perspective: Since 8.0. this game has degenerated from a “space sim” to an “arcardish pewpew”. 

I hate that. 

Actually, IMHO, a person which cant/wont READ, THINK, LEARN should have a disadvantage in this game, since you can put a lot of thought in the builds of your ships.

But no, lets dumb it down to attract the dumbest denominators, by limiting options and with that, punishing People which like to put thoughts in playstyle, builds etc.

 

I dont like this at all.

 

Also, you are punishing people which like to sozialize, by limiting squad sizes.

Im playing MMO (or whatever you like to call it) for a competitive aspect AND to socialize.

Competitive Aspect is getting nerfed by <see above> and things like Jerry LRF/Guard n00b-ships what Luckyo perfectly pointed out. 

 

Socializing Aspect is, besides 3-Man-Squads (which are annoyingly small) and more or less meaningless Corporations, not implemented. 

Having a Logo on the sector match is a nice touch, but meaningless. This game needs more opportunities for socializing. Many PPL, me included still play the game because of that aspect, so its wise to expand it. 

Zap, you should team up with eviltactician, he has the same mind like yours where group play is apparently the only way to go forward.

 

Corp vs Corp battles will come, dreadnoughts will come, and 3 man squads are just fine.

Oh, Im flying with WPK from time to time, I also have a lot of nice and team-minded people at ESB, 

 

I only fly solo if I want to check out new builds or wont burden comrads with my contract-loyalty-grind (torpedo-kills e.i.).

Yet, since the 9.4. many PPL from WPK and ESB went down to T3 for faster queueing.

I dont want to go back there. I love T4 ships, since you can (well, since 9.4. “you had been able to” is more fitting) fly with the full potential of modules.

I really cant take any more dumbed-down gameplay, especially since building ships is a major part of gameplay for me, too.

Those 2-3 Matches with WPK in T2 were nice and for the lols, but the capability of this ships is just lame and boring, so I felt the need for more “complex” ships very soon.

Also I felt like a catholic priest… 

 

I understand your argument for squad vs. solo-play. Its valid and I get you. 

On the other hand, for me, soloplay is lame. The bigger the squad, the better. lets hope that corpwars comes soon because I want to have an impact on the outcome of a match due to superior teamplay, which can only be achived in squads. And in Pugs, the impact is by far too small… if its not 3v3. (actually you can fail in a 4v4 if you have a random xxxx in the team.)
