btw, I adopted your Engineer colours for our corp. Unfortunately, I’m a complete dunce at Engies, so I flew the Anaconda twice and was like “nah, f-this.”

Beta, with bomb visible at all times it was lame. Now there atleast is some brain involved in the matter which makes it more fun.

actually bomb being visible was the only time i had fun… now im tasked with babysitting my team… sooo fun…
ah, i KNOW why you want bomb to be invisible… so you can stomp pubs in squads… that much is obvious.
Perhabs grab the bomb instead of waiting for it to come to you?
Using half a braincell will tell you exactly where the enemy is and where he is most likely headed. Not to mention you can always see his engine trail from 10k distance…
that’s not always possible when your teammate has it and runs it into their base, giving it to them.
there are literally dozens of reasons, which i shouldn’t have to explain…
btw, there’s no such thing as half a cell…
Yes there is…If there is a whole of anything, there is also a half of it.
And when your teammate suicides, then it is out of your hands to begin with. Then look at what the enemy does with the bomb and then it is very easy to guess where the enemy is headed.
this isn’t a discussion about semantics… simply put, the game mode has turned into rubbish. random lotto wins based on probability of finding the carrier. and provides indirect squad boost, aka ephemeral skills - rush station in 3 seconds and plant before enemy can react.
you want to make invisible bombs? make damage interrupt the planting process… fixed.

and those ‘best in class’ ships i was talking about before with this new mod system, you can already see it:
people have switched to ricasso instead of hawk/kite, due to EB/cap slot…
katana s is the best T3 command, then its split between prometheus and dragonfly. one has cpu slots for proton walls, other doesn’t, but has an extra hull and cap slot…
also seeing a lot more fed engineers (not sure why yet).
and the stated goal of the new mod system was the exact opposite of what is occurring…

actually, the highest kill count was 10… and i think i killed about 5 bomb carriers, dumploads of engineers and commands, and about 2 lrfs… plus, the synergy and efficiency you get on empire LRF for doing all this is roughly ZERO… so hard to progress… unless you cap beacons… your assists are delayed usually when targets hide, and you have no buffs to speak of, and low mobility. sit at a beacon, but you usually dont get to cap it cuz youre the last one there.
11,619 synergy with the current 20% boost… so 9681 synergy normally with DLC+prem… on a cerberus (R9)… 15 kills and some 5 assists (but really more like 15 assists, just too late)…
113k credits (due to almost no objectives… you dont pick up bomb, you dont cap beacons… nothing… too slow)…
bad for synergy+credit farming, good for DSR+KDR farming…

i do… well, ecm with sensor boost… but it tires me to have to babysit the team… and i can’t play anything else… or… stations blow up for no reason it seems…

ricasso used to be worse (energy problems)… now it’s vice versa…
prometheus is too susceptible to ecm. imo the weakest, but only slightly weaker than dragonfly. but you can debate this all day ;p
katana s imo has the best options.
