I am at work right now so can not check, Are there any ships that run dual-core or quad-core CPUs out there in t4+? :slight_smile:

Let me get a short list for you of ships with that.

empire: any ships above R7

lol balance and consistency are missing… R7 got 2, R8 got 1 again…oh well…a lot of ships got 2+ anyway

Also: T4 empire engineer now tanks more than the T5 due to slot layout. And T5 fed engineer is now both tankier and faster than empire engineer.

I cant update game via Steam. I tried to check game files integrity so Steam should init download patch. Nothing happens. Also I left my comp on for whole day and patch didnt downloaded automaticaly. Halp!

Afterburner energy consumption is higher when accelerating. Can someone confirm ?

they will, because the devs let us keep them because apparently they learned nothing from the past where they did the same and ended up creating a totally unfair balance between old and new people…

Adaptive Shield now affects hull and shields, but only when moving at a speed exceeding the base value by at least 50 %

The adaptive shield tool tip says ā€œwhen the ship is flying at maximum speedā€.Ā  I’m thinking (but not certain) we get slowed down while carrying an emp bomb. Will this be activated or inactive while carrying an emp bomb?

They did that a loooooong time ago. This patch was the final nail on the coffin, tbh.

I mean… you already have ridicolous afterburners speed with everyting slooted for speed… if you have to use in your (in the most of cases)Ā only capacitor modifier slot an energy regen, this is what you obtain (and this ship is full blue/purple and built for speed as much as i can before it becomes unflayable) :

So what? I should play a ship squishy as hell,not so good in dps (you have alpha strikes yes, a couple of that every 39 sec) … and nerfed in speed?

I only have the feeling, this patch should have been done with some credit issue to all players, so they can re-fit their ships properly.

Some common sum equally to all players, couple mio credits or sth.

Because I guess a lot are ending up with slots to be filled with new items. Some may not even be able to refit their ships.

The devs truely failed on this patch in terms of implementation…

several modules made useless(they need no naming I’m sure)

and stealth nerfs to ships energy generation/afterburn energy use…

You guys made a truely wonderful game and got great ideas going on. But your implementation is so badly in comparison it is really kind of sad. I don’t mind to be degrading or anything, but it is just how I feel every few patches.

Yep. My Wolf goes 440+. Wolf M is somewhat slower but close.

Add overdrive and the acceleration mod (which ever name it has) - BANG! King of speed trolls!

coz although it looks fair but kinda like huhwtf ?

The slots are completly stupid on most ships. Not to mention the afterburn change is stupid as well as being a ninja nerf.
