If I recall it correctly Jerichos Guided torpedo is already following this mechanics (i haven’t flown Jericho torp in months so don’t quote me on this, this is something i heard)

I think it just does spherical damage spread.
You most likely hit a frigate with the warhead itself or detonate 50-100m away.
With inti it is harder to hit and even if you detonate they go with 500-600ms. so for 0.1s lag, reaction time or w/e they moved away from the detonation by 50m.
So assume you are hitting with the horizon of the blast => less damage.
I’ve been torpedoed as inti with “nearby explosion” and it dropped down my shields.
I’ve been hit by the warhead itself and my EB was activated.
adaptive shield is now useless in most situations… it’ll only work when afterburning forwards, which means useless in combat…
proj splitter on the other hand will make it even harder to dodge on guard/engi than it already is…
so basically frigate nerf, hardcore…
which is kinda dumb considering even an ECM can shred a 75k ehp guard… you’ll be dead before the disables wear off… or a covert…
now you wanna nerf frigs more instead of fixing EM torps…

Plus you claim you nerfed singularity, but you actually OP it as with new module system my Anaconda M went from 57k survivality to 51… I lost 6k protection and my adaptive shield now worths nothing. Thank you very much for nerfing frigates again and OP all the rest. Me and all the other guys in the comunity that can’t fly interceptors because of lag are very grateful… imo things were perfect before this patch… for all player types… now it’s all ECM nukes and beach balls allover the place…
Also please hire someone who speaks English fluently to write your tooltips.

Is not what its tooltip reads in game. We’re supposed to be at max speed, not 50% of base. What is base speed anyway? A dead stop? Speed before mods and synergy? What? This isn’t clear at all.
Yet another nerf to guards. Why even play a guard now if it’s lacking its former tanking ability, usefulness, etc?
But shut the foock up please! Pulsar,Slow effect, Coil Mortar, EM torpedos… and huge amount of survivability…
But people are not happy yet… they think they have to be completly immortal, they think they have to be able to fly alone on a becon and get it while 10 others ships are focusing fire on them (and they should be able to kill at least 6/7 of them too) … becouse they are “Guards”.
And sad part is Devs actually cares about this kind of nosense feedbacks… and the results is: Welcome to World of Frigates (was Star conflict)… a game where your own skill doesn’t matter, your team skill doesn’t matter: just pick up the right ship (read guards for the most with some Engi and Long Range as support) and you can score easy wins with 0 skill!

Man, what a bummer that the Anaconda-M has the exact same Shield slots as the Crus-S or that would be even more underpowered, huh!

edit: Ooh, the sticker suddenly appeared. I stuck it to all my ships just to be sure, restarted the client and it was gone again (still on the ships though). Funny bug.
And people in this thread will claim that interceptors are now unusable and yell at you for being a newby if you don’t see it…
Interceptors are still perfectly usable, just not a good choice to counter a frig ball. And since most games T3+ have 80-90% frigates (and gunships + ECM for FotM)…
Fighters … well - people only hate one of his guns lol
As an interceptor pilot I can say I love all kinds of fighters and singularity fighters in particular. Better than fighters with a weapon which could actually hit me.

A gunship with bubble gun could probably cause trouble to a ceptor with shrapnel or lasgun but in any case the interceptor can disengage so yeah it’s not really effective.
