what fly mode do you play on that you have your turrets shoot freely w/o having to face opponent with the ship ?

This is simply too infuriating, I don’t even have fun anymore. Between being forced to level ships I don’t like in order to advance more to feeling all my fighters and interceptors feel like they are giving my team a disadvantage. I think I’m going to take a break until the balance changes. I hate frig battles and if you don’t bring enough of them then you’re simply playing the game wrong.  

 

And before some bozo tells me “I won a match and did pretty well in my interceptors” that just means you’re playing bad pilots/squads. T4/T5 means people always go for the strongest teams, and guess what they are.

No you don’t get the point: you need at least one Voltage Regulator to fly. Period.

 

It’s not like you can’t use modules that increase speed reducing regen or similar… you just need a Voltage Regulator to afterburn with cov ops. If u can’t install it, you are done.

 

And while you can install on r12 13 and 15… you can’t in any previous rank… situation that makes all fed cov ops under rank 12 completly unflayable.

They might tweak them, but T5 ceptors have always been like that, tbh.

Im taking this time to reformat my pc, then ill be back by next patch. see ya in space…soon.

Could the devs do an event for 100% credit income or something this weekend? Due to 9.4 me, and my others, have major credit issues and are unable to fit my ships. A credit event would help a ton since the devs apparently don’t like refunding even when it is the right thing to do.

future note: if we ever need 100% on something - ask for 500% to start then negotiate downwards. :stuck_out_tongue:

i had 0.4 mil when the patch hit, I don’t even what to try at this point.

They’ll start thinking we’re hacking the game or something. “You’re killing a lot more people than you are dying and we can’t have that, you know.”

I had like 3 mill, and then GONE in like 2 minutes. I had to rebuy, sell, and reuse old modules. Especially in T4. 

 

Though I could gain back 1 mill for every 5 winning matches, but that never happens…in a timely fashion

12 matches in the past 2 days. 2 wins out of that. You do the math on how long it’d take me to get the creds back to refit my ships.

Ive moved back (yet again …) to T3 as I need to regrind money to equip all my ships again …

Forget math. it hurts my brain. But your right. The games progression. stopped.

Whats the point then in playing if you cant progress. Thats the question everyone has to consider, not just kipps. 

Look Devs, please do something and do it quikly: all federation cover ops  lower than rank 12 are simply UNPLAYABLE considering they don’t even have a capacitor slot and you can’t use energy regen module. 

 

It is just impossible to fly and use modules in the meamtime. Seriously that’s just ridicolous. 

 

I d hardly suggest you to revisit the whole new afterburn usage system, but at least give a capacitor  slot to every interceptor… couse withouth it u can’t fly .

 

Can’t you equip a “Passive Armor” on a T3 ships? 

 

And yet again i do like the changes (of course i don’t like side effects such as players have to reequip everything and some of them don’t have moneys to do so, but there is a PvE for a reason, yeah sure it is boring, but spending an hour in it wont kill you, but on contrary you will be able to outfit most of your stuff for PvP), after spending couple hours in hangar outfitting ships, comparing them and analyzing what i can squeeze out of them, i like it even more. Sure its not perfectly balanced, it never is after changes of this magnitude. The diversity between ships in a same role but in different factions is tremendous. 

 Don’t forget that all those changes were done across the board, it is not 1 [insert your favorite ship here] that got changed, every ship has to face iterations of new builds. 

 And Energy management pre 0.9.4 was almost non existent, it mattered on couple ships, yet still wasn’t really taken seriously. Now you have to think what do you want from your ship even more

 I didn’t fit  Kite myself last night, but i think it has 3xEngine + 1xShield +1xHull +2CPU = to total of 7 modules (unless it has 2x shield and 0xHull)

people are blowing this out of proportion, i’m having zero problems in my T2 interceptor, so I don’t want to hear any complaining at the higher tiers. I mean for ffs my ship moves faster without afterburners than it did with afterburners before the patch.

The upper tiers have a very different feel to them, so this is a blanket statement you cannot simply make.

T4/5 interceptors start feeling a lot weaker than you will be used to in T2.
