I could argue that you’d need a lot of inties to overcome an engineer with that, but the truth is that I love hunting other inties too much to fit plasmas even though I found purples of those.
I can solo guards and engies with plasma gun&rockets, so they aren’t that bad 
You can solo ONE guard/engi … sure you can.
But when you find three guards and two engi ?

I believe so. It didn’t used to work that way, so I suppose it was an intentional change. Add in Empire R13 implant, and you become your own fleet.

Considering I had asked about the drones early in the 0.9.2 thread already and they’re still in I suppose they’re working as intended actually. Slap an imperial R13 implant on and watch your drone army multiply quickly. Beware of jericho torps.

Unguided neut missiles come in packs of 10, not sure if anything else. Normal guided interceptor rockets are in packs of 8 indeed.

It’s super deadly in PVP as well. I played defensive engineer in a few combat recons and incoming interceptors will just get one-shot by the drones once you got a few. Offense is trickier because bubble fighters and jericho LRFs will kill the drones quickly (coil mortars work as well, everything else has trouble hitting them when they don’t stand still).

- No they don’t, if you are out of combat or have not received any dmg for about 20 seconds BAckspace/selfdestruct wont give a way kills, if you damaged CO befor he Sdestructed - you get a kill

If you lock onto the drone, your accuracy goes up a lot. The game gives a slight assist when you’re locked on, and higher spread weapons like shrapnel naturally are better at taking them out and any healing station.

I know, goes for enemy ships too. But if you’re talking interceptor vs drones, then I find them easiest by far to take out with an unguided missile. Blows the entire stack of them up instantly. And speed is important - saved quite a few allies that way already.

it could be lag, but i think it’s a bug. can’t remember which game now, so can’t even pull the logs. should have though.
i shot a point blank torpedo at a covert, dropped him to 20% hull, he suicided. i was at full before the torp, and some 50% hull after in a LRF.
never got a kill…
if it was lag, why would he suicide if the torp didn’t hit him? not to mention it wouldn’t have killed me at full hp.
also, in a combat recon game, i died as captain in last few seconds, since their captain was dead and i just went on the assault. the game didn’t credit me with a win… it said defeat…

i never paid attention really… i’d have to pay more attention now to test it though. i can understand if you don’t hit them, but really weird.
