Indeed. T1 pilots may not understand loadout, timing or focus fire, but they understand the idea that the side with two or more beacons wins!
As mentioned by so many others in this thread (and other threads):
The change on score/efficiency and synergy gain is a step backwards. Why? Because I get the same amount of synergy in PvP and PvE with the 50% synergy weekend bonus as with the old system without synergy weekend bonus!
Please fix that!
While you are at fixing stuff please reduce the required vouchers for module upgrades, especially Tier3 and higher. The voucher gain from contracts is not proportional to the required vouchers for upgrades. I still have Mk2 equipment by the time I leveled up most ships in Tier3 .

So lets talk about some simple math as for how the new synergy/efficiency gain system actually lowers drastically the synergy or efficiency received in each battle…
Kill example: Under the old system, a kill was worth a flat 100 points. Now, the range can be anywhere from 2-150 points, not including special kills like on bomb carriers, etc. So essentially, if you apply the law of large numbers, over time you will earn more points for a kill under the new system 33.3% of the time. Which means that 66.7% of the time, you will be earning LESS points than under the previous system, and in more than half of all possible cases you will earn even fewer points for a kill today, than you would with a damage assist (80pts) prior to this patch.
Assists are actually WORSE off than kills, surprisingly. Although you can now get an assist for damage dealt at any time prior to the target’s death, there is still the problem of the reward for said damage. Formerly a flat 80 points, now it is possible to get anywhere from 1-99 points. To make the math simple, lets assume it goes 1-100 and we can divide this into an even 80/20 scenario- that is, 80% of the time you will earn less points than previously for a damage assist, and 20% of the time you will earn the same or greater.
Finally, buff/debuff assists. Not sure where this “it was always 20 points” quote comes from, but it sure is 20 points now and it used to be 60. Pretty simple really, now it takes three buff or debuff assists to gain you what used to come from one.
I am all for gaining exp for kills based on contribution or damage dealt but the system should be centered on the old numbers- that is, make the mid point the 100 points (80 if its an assist) so that on any given kill the player has a 50/50 chance of earning more or less points than under the previous system, so that synergy and eff gain will average out. Better yet, why not just take the old system, remove the timer limiting the window in which an assist can be earned, and call it good.
If a buff/debuff bonus would give you more points than a kill/damage assist, then let the player get points for the buff/debuff instead, and vice versa.

Removing is not a good option, it would lead to abuse. But increasing the window, maybe proportionally to the damage dealt would be a nice idea. Shouldn’t even have to be a linear function. I don’t use LRFs, but when i had to level one for emp engie, it was frustrating when i hit a fighter, it loses 90% health, next shot i miss it, and someone kills it before i can launch the 3rd volley, and i get nothing.

I do agree - adding the bonuses from buff/debuff and damage quite possibly solve the problem and make the game less of an annoyance for engies, commands and ECMs.
The system might reqiure some tweaking in means of amounts tho - like slightly lowering the cap of kill/dmg assist bonus.
Also, another question should you get more points for killing someone if you participated with buffs/debuffs. I know this complicates the whole thing quite a lot but it would make playing support classes much more rewarding. (there are way less commands in t3 matches than it would be healthy is you ask me.)
I hope the devs get enough amount of precise feedback so the new system can be fixed, because it is far not hopeless.

Also, on the PvE front enemies need their score boosted, especially bosses. I am sick of getting 9pts for assisting the Punisher kill on Blackwood when I’ve got drones attacking him the whole time.

if you participate in the sector conquest with atleast 1 win in each sector you will get loyality vouchers on next cycle.

When the Empire captures the location belonging to the Federation, all the pilots who participated in the capture receive Legion loyalty vouchers. When a Jericho location is captured , pilots receive Warden vouchers.
