The change on score/efficiency and synergy gain is a step backwards. Why? Because I get the same amount of synergy in PvP and PvE with the 50% synergy weekend bonus as with the old system without synergy weekend bonus!
Must have been golden times that I missed while not playing. Gave this game a spin again and between roughly -40% synergy requirements for the ships and about 33% higher synergy gain (before the weekend bonus) compared to when I last played a few patches ago (when synergy gain was still hard capped) I was actually quite happy.
Other grinds are still as massive as back then (loyalty, credits) so how is synergy even an issue? I just blasted through a few ship levels in no time without even a license, it is certainly much faster to unlock the next ship than to grind the resources for actually buying and flying it. Are you guys sure you’re not confusing synergy with efficiency? The latter has no relevance except for a few contracts.
Apart from that the queue waiting times were atrocious, 3v3 bot battles in tier 3 are ridiculous, but the game felt much less laggy so that’s good. The coil mortar frig balls seem slightly strong.

I agree with you that synergy grind is lower, but again, im speaking it with this weekend 50% bonus synergy. Once it wears off, ill start seeing a loss of 30-40% average synergy than before the patch.
And i believe that the Hard Syn Grind is due to the T4’s, since that tier is dead, and you can only level it through free synergy or massive amounts of PVE (Imagine doing PVE with tackler, how disgusting it must be.

I want to level my T4 interceptors. Only two missions permit interceptors, the one that requires everyone to know what they’re doing and the one that’s so easy I only die if I get bored and relaxed.

Critic charged shot. Most likely in a ship without resistances. I have achieved 12k criticals with positrons on guard shields out of Phase.
I don’t see a problem here. In my DE or Swarm, I’m having 800/900 damage reports from gauss, with some 1600/1700 criticals. But I have 120 kin resists in both.
Why is there a T5 anyway? T4 is empty, T5 is empty, both only played for PvE and SecCon, and very few ppl play it even than. I could accept it as it is, most people don’t play “ranked” in any game where is a ranked an a non-ranked Q, but as SecCon gives you 4v4s most of the time… it’s a bad Q. And you face some Aces who you roll, or you are rolled over if you are not a squad, very rarely a good match.

T5 is anything but empty, it’s just populated by SecCon pilots. T4, however… take your pick, really… You either have R10/11s and get bumped down to T3 or you have R11/12s and get bumped up to T5.
We need custom games for T4. I would totally love to do that.
Also, about lower sinergy, you guys sure about it? I have not been getting anything else than more sinergy than before (up to 11k free sinergy with 1 prem ship, about 10k average compared to average 5k before, no daily bonus).
