Note that It takes at least Synergy lvl 6 before T5 ships get somewhat useful.
You can use Eagle-M, Swift Eagle, Grizzly-M, Tiger-M, Scimitar and Tormentor S in SecCon, too.
I think we no longer get loyalty vouchers though from Sector Conquest? That mail of 10k or 20k of vouchers for participation?

Urgh, what is with the ridiculous lag, today… Why am I getting 400ms on EU servers, for god’s sake… No downloads, no skype, no nothing running in the background and it still gives me this?..

For the Lag Spike with +/- 30ms Yes, I have this kind of thing since 2-3 days.
Secondly, the game connexion is a little more sensible to other Internet connexion too. Aka 200ms lagspike while watching a Video on EU server. (Never happen before O_o) I checked with my provider, and nothing wrong from my side or my provider side.
Edit : I also saw a disturbing thing, It’s me or I see less and less Guards Frigates and more Frigballz made by 2-3 (or 4-5) Styx? Most of the Guard I meet are really bad Fitted and explode in 10 secondes

The Guards are all being flown by terribad pilots, nowadays. I propose we both team up and fly our Guards to show them what good Guards can pull in T3. We also need 2 Engies to back us up. Well, ~I~ need 2 just to rep my shields back to full…

Solo MM can still screw up and get me a 3v3 from time to time but squad matchmaking has been solid every time I tried.
Odd… found way faster Matches in a 4-Man-Squad than in a 3-Man-Squad…

In the old days, most guard pilots would just shift their Phase Shield to EM and place resists for the rest. F***ing lazy bums, the lot. Nowadays, it’s no different, as well. I RARELY see a Guard make use of the Phase Shield and it really irks me to see that. They just want the guards cause of the high hp, without having a sodding clue as to what they’re for.
Engineer pilots are no better, nowadays. They didn’t know what heals were, before, they don’t know what they are, now. I see Engies with NO modules on all the time and it’s sad, really.
What we need is both. A text tutorial for what the role does (SPECIFICALLY, not the bull they have in-game for the ship roles, now) and module tutorials. The wiki can also have that much detailed info, including HOW to best use them, as well.

Which is hard. But the solution, believe it or not, lies on the Styx, not the Guards.
Nowadays they stick with Thermal-Phase.
I notice it a lot. My desintegrator nearly does no Damage on them (in that case i love good Guard pilots, since I can do more DMG on them :lol: )
A tutorial would be pretty simple: 3 Waves of Bots, all with different Dmg types and the Player has to adapt the Phase accordingly.

The Styx DEFINITELY needs an hp nerf. 10% overall is more than enough. I mean, come on, that single ship has 10k more hp than the friggin Crus-S! Guards are meant to be the game’s tanks, not Engineers. Imperial Engies are meant to take a beating and survive. Jericho Guards are meant to take a beating, survive and spread their arms going “COME AT ME, BRO!” at the incoming horde of enemy ships.
