Yeah we were solo queueing as well to get into games quicker. We were still only getting 3v3 games at best. I’m thinking after the first few days of “new and shiny!”, SC is going to empty out.
Ships should get synergy as well as allowing non corp affiliated pilots to participate.
Also, due to the change from 3 hours fighting / 9 hours preparation to 1 hour fighting/ 3 hours prep, NASA’s bid to control a sector was somehow canceled. We retain all of our influence points, as Voyd stated, but we are without a sector. We should have at least one. At present, ESB is gobbling up all the sectors that pay out Galactic Standards. Mathematically, we should’ve been able to capture the first one, maybe the second. Now we might not get a single one.
You think there’s a coincidence the only 8/gs a cycle territory on the map is in Empire?
We need a system by which all the corporations in one faction can vote out another corporation that is under-performing. Last night, a corporation that shall remain nameless made the move from Federation to Empire b/c ESB and NASA were winning all of their games versus Fed. Now this corporation is stinking up all of our games so bad that we can’t carry them all. If this continues, Empire is going to start losing sectors because that corporation is losing our games for us.
Perhaps switching allegiance between factions should require a 2/3 vote of approval by all corporations with at least 50 members or all corporations that currently own a sector.
Maybe the corporation that is switching should pay all the corporations in the faction to which they are switching. They could pay out all their stored Iridium to all the corporations that own sectors. Something, anything to discourage sub-par corporations from switching to the winning side and stinking up the place. Probably not going to get a lot of love from Fed or Jericho for this one, but those factions have most of the zerg corps which previously used their numbers to capture sectors.
Now that Sector Control is based on skill and progress, everything is about to get muddled. Versus Tier 4’s and 5’s, It is too hard to carry Tier 2 and Tier 3 ships with no synergy.
Dudes from Nasa that complained about migration to empire territory.
Why dont you stabilize and create comptetition in the world perhaps by moving to another faction? Oh, by the looks of the posts you want easy victories since you will not face the other TOP corps since they all grouped together on empire.
What you want is a complete monopoly, and now, noone wants to play against empire so the tendency is everyone eventually migrating to empire, then other faction corps will have a chance to NOT face a full team of ESB+NASA+WPK with purple and fully synergised ships.

Dude, have you read your post? have u noticed how egotist you are being? The whole world isnt there to make your life easyer, what u want is to ensure YOUR team is FULL purple and synergy T5 ships and the enemy is full of lesser corps flying T2’s so u can farm territories.
You sound mad. We don’t want easy battles. We want battles where we don’t have to carry pilots who have no business playing sector conquest. They seem to be so happy just to get their foot in the door that they don’t consider the repercussions of their poor play.

Not everyone is full T5 elite ships with purple, that’s only the case of ESB. I can’t speak for NASA (but I know they’re in the same position as us), but we’re struggling to get a full T5 lineup, most of us reached that tier during this week or the last, and there’s still people without a single T5 ship, so please inform yourself.
And, I proposed something not to far away, about limiting the number of corporations per faction, not only by numbers but also with a general strength measurement, so there can be some kind of balance… but some people complained, statu-quo seems untouchable.

The problem is to mess up the freedom of choice ingame. Right now it is a fact that the most powerfull (skill and equipment) corps are fighting for empire. That means that given time ALL the territory will end up in the empire’s hands. If you set a maximum number of corps per faction you are basically saying that the ones that change to empire first get to be free from any fight against the most powerfull ones.
Wanna fix this, sort out the most powerfull corps and spread them and fix them on certain factions, then the playerbase will have to spread aswell. But since theres no way to balance everything so beautifully, i think everything should be as it is in Eve, which means the faction wouldnt mean nothing, every corp fights for itself, so each sector has to be fought against everyone, no feds, no empire, no jericho, just the corps.

Because we joined Empire the day sector conquest first came out. Also, our logo is an Empire eagle. I bet that’d make sense on the Federation side of the map.
Also, the sector conquest leaderboard is only showing who captured a sector within the last preparation stage. It showed ESB as 1 after their first capture, then RISE as 1 after their sector, and now its back to just saying ESB as 1 again, even though they have 2.

It is too much to demand their game to be able to aknowledge the existance of more than one. (i dont write english very well) since it requires seconds of intense programing and less consumption of vodka during coding.
I understand the Logo thing about Nasa and empire, but still, they can surelly make available to change the logo for free once.
But i still think the best option is corporations fighting for themselves, not empires or federations or jericho, so theres no logic or need to move every corp in the game to the empire side to prevent being crushed by vastly superior corps.
After the first month playing this game, i started to think they were making the game exclusivelly for russians, since they only make things better for them. Better latency, better timing in SQ, and acording to some comment here, faster queues too. Aparently they will get all the money they can get from the russians, so they ignore the rest…
To give the devs some credit, the newest patch implemented an autoselect of server region to get Americans and Europeans onto localized servers more so we could stop complaining about lag. It’s just something was really broken with it and they did a rollback, almost. It’s kind of sad though, because they can collect data and have a test queue that’s not used for MM to check waiting times, etc. I’m still going from 10v10 to bot match to 10v10, in T3.

If I recall, there have been corporations what switched because they couldn’t compete against the zerg corps. Right now, the ESB/WPK/NASA) combo is imbalanced. Empire needs some crappy corps to help balance it out. But sector conquest should also probably be 8 man squad matches instead of a hodgepodge of corps on the battlefield.

1500 artifacts if I recall, it’s not free. Only a few corps even got the option of a custom logo.

Thats why i sugested that when u pay for the logo to get the right to change it 1 time again without repaying, so ppl dont say: I dont leave empire because our logo is the bird from empire… when in fact they dont want to play against a corp more powerfull than theirs.

This isn’t even close to right. It’s like when you’re the fan of a sports team, you don’t just abandon ship because they’re doing terribly, or even if they’re doing amazingly. You’re in it for the long run, we’ve been with Empire for however long sector conquest has been out (4-6 months?), we’re not going to abandon Empire now because all the ‘good’ corps are on our side.
In fact, I’d wish that we could play against ESB/WPK in sector conquest, because it’d make the queues a hell of a lot quicker. Yes, ESB is better than us, but it makes the matches more challenging and fun. Most people see an ESB squad, and just stop queueing. We’ve gone head-to-head with ESB in t3/t4/t5 in 4v4 situations, repeatedly queuing against them. Sure, they probably win 60%+ of the time against us, but that’s how we learn. We don’t get better by face-rolling random pilots. I’d rather lose 5 games in a row in good, fun matches against ESB then to play 50+ games of easy, face-rolling wins.
We’re not leaving Empire because we have been, and will remain loyal to Empire.
