319 hours into the game,(rank 9/8/9, loyalty 9/6/6/6/6/9) patch 8.0 screwed me over hard but I climbed my way back to where I used to be…let’s hope they don’t xxxx me over again…
and 40k sounds like a lot, but it’s gone in a short amount of time

Granted, hails are much more effective at long range, but after I tested the hails against the assault… I found I was better at assault. Personal preference, I guess.
There’s also the matter of how close can you get to me before your armor dies out =P
Remember Hails hit twice as far away and we can just dance around the Minefields until one of us dies.

Just stack buffer mods. You can easily get that high. Plus, that’s a T3 ship, the Cerberus 2. My Crus-S can reach up to 58k ehp, so yeah, Engies with that much hp are op’d. Then again, resists are pretty much worthless to stack when you can have that much hp to mock ceptors over.
Yeah… Sabre, as someone who flies with you when he can I hope you’ll trust me when I say that the Raptor Mk II is a terrible, terrible ship. You can’t really talk about wider balance flying a Rank 4 ship because Rank 4 has its own set of issues - namely that they are laughably underpowered compared to Rank 5 or 6. Trust me; grab yourself an Alligator-M or a Hydra 2 and you will never go back to the Raptor.
As to survivability, the Hydra 2 at least gets one hell of a big boost to survivability once you hit max synergy.

Nope, just hit 10/10 in my Command and saw the same inrcemental upgrade as with the previous lvls of synergy.

Add up your hull and shield points. It adds up to 24k. The game states your survivability to be 38k.
Survivability is HP adjusted for resists.

Actually that is a very bad choice. Resists are the king on engineer because engineer lives by regen/heal. That means taking less damage gives more survivability then having a lot of health.
The standard cerberus 2 “very high thermal resist on hull, high kinetic resist on hull” build makes them basically unkillable for a covert ops int in 1v1. They drop plasma arc damage on hull by over 50%, and can tank epic rapid fire plasma forever as they will outregen the damage once it starts hitting the hull.
Also, this is my current guard build that’s slotted in (missing shield regen mod because I was messing around with AMS). Yup, less survivability than cerberus 2 pre-phase shield. I’m used to it.

Come On! how hard can it be to make more options to the hud! u are stalling us, your are not doing any thing to the game looks, no new missons, i griended like nuts to get t4 ship only to find out that t4 flyes in to a black hole and fails all togetter. you just tweeking stats, sound ajustments and lol cake… give nicer explotions, more co-up with other players, being able to fly out of docking to look and enspect other ships… the list goes on and on tons of ideas by other users compleatly ignored… iv been yelling for a better crosshairs since day one i started this game others have to, id say crosshairs/aming are one of the most importent things in a shooter…still u fail at it… sigh.and no open world…just kids playing shoota till the next the next fast shooter come out then this will be forgotten cus it realy got no content this game… 3 weeks to get to t4 then game over. before i log in ervy day to play, now i log in 1-2 times a week to see if a nice pach has come…but its always the same, no real changes just littel buffs and nerfs…u have such a sweet space engine here but u waste it on lame gameplay… Owell there goes another one your loss i guees

huh, crosshairs are fine, the UI is fine (a little cluttered, but meh), the game looks are perfect (ships are incredibly detailed, as are the manoeuvring thrusters when you steer it…
But yes, T4 is only currently used for PvE because T3s pay a lot more in the long run. T4 matches tend to go for a lot longer time than T3s… A way to fix this is to increase the payouts T4 PvP gives, but that’s just me talking…

Well, when you put it that way, it does make sense to stack resists on Engies…
