Bug with this patch: the extra loot chance from the steam pack is gone, I’m getting 5 instead of 6 for a win again.

And all of the other boosts like 10% bonus. At least I can still use my ships…

 

We’ll check and restore everything, probably problem due to free premium which we gave three days.

Acceleration Coil can be only installed for frigates? Why is that? I think that’s a bad idea. It will nerf the fighters and interceptors a lot.

Eh, sort-of agree. Although I think that Empire fighters are kind aunderowered, probably on account of their frigates being ridiculously buffed.

Really, a developer can’t do anything about AV software giving false positives. These should be reported to the relevant antivirus vendor.

Interested to see how the new shipyard is. 10 mins of flying around obstacles while fighting the boss was a bit boring.

were all t2 heavy weapons and other modules which are not availiable at t2 removed?

To those complaining about Jericho interceptor Tachyon nerf: How is it fair that a group of four interceptors can keep a huge area stunlocked for 15+ seconds?

Personally I would like to see more reasons to use frigates in actual combat, rather than sitting back sniping. I guess that would more be a result of buffs to survivability and targeting and nerfs to empire/jericho frigate abilities, however. I can see why they would want you to use increased projectile speed for frigates specifically, under this light, since they have trouble hitting anything with a decent speed.

I would like to see something to address the fact that plasma weapons can do both EN and Kinetic damage, the two extremes of what ships are resistant to. It seems silly that they do the best anti-shield damage, and simply swap to kinetic once the shields are gone. The other two weapon types have to make due with thermal, which is okay against both, but doesn’t do extreme damage against either.

As a plasma-fan i agree, tho i simply think that reducing the bonus damage or adding a little malus could do the trick, like decrease projectile speed or increase heat generation when usind the needle system

leave the plasma as is. he is a to weak in damage , if you change your damag to em/thermal everyone will go to rail.

Levae the plasma, it’s weakness are it’s quick overheating, high sprad and lowest range and projectile speed of all three.

Yes, I agree, I primarly fly interceptors to support my Corp as everyone uses Fighters. The plasma weapons are a pain in the xxxx to use and master due to the high spread, low optimal range (1600 meters)  and fast overheating. They are fine and wel balanced. Actualkly they have made everything well balance. 

 

The only thing I see is some people who lack SKILL complain about changes, well I have one thing to say to that. PRACTICE.

And if you use plasma, you loose many things as resistence, shield/hull bosst beacaus you need you spread conpensation mods

How does one loose anything if someone uses plasma? all a plasma user needs is their weapon mods, plasma enhancer+needle system and keep the eye to switch when the shield collapses, and btw i use plasma on every of my ships, because i like it

I use battle scaner. if it were not for the plasma I would be using a mod to increase my ROF or my defensive status.

plasma is actualy a gamble of sorts, if a player stacks EMR on shield, the alternative is kinetic, which by default is the weakest against shields.

if a player tanks kineticR then the alternative is EM, which is yet again the weakest of the 3 on hull.

basicly plasma gets shafted depends on the R type stacking, so unless the enemy stacks on thermal or not at all, its the weakest.

to summarize: R stands for resistence, S/H for the HP type , EM/Kin/Th for damage types.

Plasma: SEMR - unable to dent shields, hurts the hull.

              HKinR - unable to dent hull, DESTROYES shields.

              S/HThR- the perfect weapon, youre dead.

 

lasers and railguns both use thermals and 1 type of HP destroyer, basicly an all rounded weapons vs resistence stacking whilst plasma can be completly useless in some situations.
