first, the devs listen to the community, they care about our opinion…even if some of you don’t feel that way.

 

increasing cost for the reimplantation from 5k to 950k. single implant change from 1k to 100k…

and this was done AFTER the huge negative response from the comunity about increasing prices on ships. Yeah, we recived so much care from them.

Comunity asked to make this pre-fitting optional, cause most of the time u have to delete 99% of the base fitting and buy what u need instead, spending even more money.

Now tell me, what did they do about that? Did they listen, did they made something? Did they, at least, answered to this feedback? All we got from them is 100% ignore.

And ninja-nerfs ofc.

what excactly do you define as a respond? the devs actively posting at the forum would be nice but they also are humans with a (private) live…

in addition the devs are russian…so they may not speak english which could be a reason for no direct answer at the english forum…

 

the ninja nerfs are quite unfortunate…maybe Error could do something about it, like asking for a more detailed patch log…

 

maybe all of you which are complaining should stop playing the game for ~1 month (~4 patches if they keep the thursday cycle) then reenter and see if they have fixed the demanded points…

don’t get me wrong - i have also problems advancing through the tiers or testing builds due the high prices…i would also like to see some quick fixes for MM and pricing…

but i’m rather patient since the game is still in Beta - minecraft wasn’t perfect beging from the first day

Well, i mostly agree with that one. U buy storage only once and then forget about it. I have 500 storage playces now and only half of them are full. by the time i will need more, i will earn money for that.

Maybe they overpriced it a little.

But implants price change is really dumb. i dont see any reason to do such HUGE price increace. This game is all about experimenting, finding your own build that suits your playstyle. U are learning by trying new builds. It is very important for this things to be easly accessable for experimenting.

But devs did right the opposite thing. They effectively punishing players for experimenting with modules and implants builds.

Dont want lose all your money untill u finally fing something that suits u? Go and play what they dictate.

Stick to the base fitting, cause u already payed for that and re-fitting will suck some more cash from u.

Stick to the one implants build, cause re-implanting is expencive.

All of that leads us to sticking to the one faction and one class of ships. Cause different fractions and ship classes are better with different implant setups.

So in the end u are either forced to play what they tell u, or be stucked in one tier cause u waste ur money on experimenting and finding what suits u the most.

Lucky me, i already tested a lot of the stuff. And now i only suffer inability to swap implans for different ships. Im not gonna waste 100k for that. This is horribly overpriced. I could agree with something like 1k for T1 implants, 5k for T2 implants, 10k for T3 implants, or something like that. But not the 100k.

On the other hand, they now give you gold standard after every battle, I thought it was only for as long as the comonautics day is, but it’s still there, so yeah, we should also point out the things they did good and right, because if we don’t, how can they know?

the time frame isn’t important…they did give us the opporunity to earn gold by playing and not just investing real money…

about the build / implant thing: in other games like Blacklight Retrubution you can buy items for a day at a low price or permanently for a ridiculos high price…

the problem is obvious: the majority doesn’t want to pay to play…so the devs have to take some steps to ensure themselves a positive income…

Ok here my view of the most recent patch is that it seems to have fixed most of the issues from last patch. I see where the dev’s are coming from now, WE as players need to except that this game is becoming more and more of a grind. LIKE it should be, I was lucky to join the beta when I did to get the extra ranks, but this game would have been way to OP for new players just starting. So I for one feel lucky I got my ranks when I did as should everyone. Once it goes live, all of us in the Beta will be leaps and bound ahead of the new pilots. The dev’s do listen BUT there are way to many Butt hurt crybaby’s. I’ve seen them in my own corporation, this was probably the reason I ranted so much about the last patch(People quitting screwed our rankings up).So put your noses to the grinding wheel and start grinding. Quit bitching or just quit all I know is I’ll be here.

u wont earn too much gold anyway. maybe on a T2 premium ship if no-lifeing. this is an obivious advertesment to draw player back, cause nearly half of them left after loyality rework. i remember 3k+online and queue to log in. now even with this event there are only about 1800 online.

OFC, cause its F2P game! In such game u can make player want to pay, buy offering him lots of good content. Or, if ur game doesnt have any extra content to offer, u force player to pay by turning existing content into a hardcore grinding, and offering everyone an easy accsess to everything from the beginning. for the real money.

Im not saying that this game is bad. Its idea cant be bad, cause its a freelancer clone, after all. But someone who’s in charge clearly took the wrong way of making a quick money instead of making a game with world-wise popularity, like LoL.

 

I would be glad if this game was actually a one time purchase. like GW2. I would buy it without a doubt. Cause that way devs would already have quaranteed positive income from their community, so they could focus on improving gameplay, expanding content, all things that convince players to pay. And not on forcing them to do this.

For some reason this game reminds me about Global Agenda. Similar lobby-based PvP. Some open maps and scenario missions for PvE. Same “modules” of different tiers for ur agent. It even had its own maps for Corp vs Corp games. GA had some interesting content to offer, while u are levelling and this process was flawless and pvp in midlevels was great, so me and my friend bought premium accs and played if for mounth or two. It was really promising at that time. But when we got to the high levels, game turned to endless grinding. They had no content for the high levels. so they turned this high levels to the endless grind. and if u just donate and buy everything - then there is nothing left to do. R.I.P Global Agenda now, nobody play it anymore. I heared that they are making a 2nd GA, but i didnt bother reaserching.

What we have in SC now? grinding starts nearly from the beginning… I fear this game will share the same fate. I really dont want to, but its not up to me.

I can put up with all those prices and stuff but what pissed me off the most is the hell did they able to miss a gigantic crash in the mac version of the game, if they tested it, this crash that left all the mac users unable to play for multiple days could of been avoided…

 

Devs, y u no test ur patch before release???

if the devs wouldn’t test before releasing a patch the windows version would also be buggy…

have you posted it at the bug report section with a appropriate description along with gamelogs? have you tried to play using different settings?

yes and if u havnt noticed, there are many posts releating to this crash on mac version of the game

It is hard to check this, these guys seem to be in a squad with one of the higher players.

 

Sry error but quite bs, that what my game looked like as i tried, i saw the loading screen (while flying my prefered t2) and just quit…

 

Just got back here to check if anything good happened to the game…

Well, i must say that this was the only problems with mixed tiers i’ve experienced. They really did some fixes as they promised. Usually 95% of my team is the same tier. Only 1-2 players may or may not be from different one. Same for the enemy team. 1-2 T4 ships per team wont make big difference unless they are really skilled interceptors. Overall, i didnt have any negative impact of this matchmaking change after the first day of its implemention.

And if u read developing plan u will understand why they mixed tiers in the first place.

Synergy will be reworked to be more important. And high synergy levels will unlock extra slots for modules. So T3-3 ship with maxed synergy will be much closer to T4-1 ship i guess. With propper balance it is really a good idea to have mixed tier matches, cause there will be a lot more different ships in one battle simultaniously.

They are also planning to rebalance all ships to make each one of them a bit unique. I hope they are doing this right now, cause it is exacly what is needed with such hight price on them. If i buy a ship i want it to be different from the other. There should be something that convince me to but this partiqular ship and not the other one.

Right now i just watch for the max speed and ammount of modules, Everything else is not that important, cause it is almost the same in every ship.

NO. If that was the case, tiers would be pointless. They would reward player for maxing out synergy but it will be more of bringing ships of same tier in line (currently rank4 ship has less modules then rank 6 and significantly lower stats). Don’t get me wrong, but currently the only difference between tiers is number of modules and look, roles are the same. In fact you have only 9 roles in whole game, 3 for each ship class. Race only mean stat changes, with class module beeing a bonus to one specific role. and how many ships you got in game? 432? ( not counting steam dlc)  Do you really believe they will do all 400+ ships unique? That would be on-paper difference in most cases. And no, I don’t understand why they made mixed tiers especialy when community voted against it. I see huge flaws in their explanation and described them. Any answer? No.

Tactical, you still believe this is beta? When parts of game mechanics are still in development?

 

People here are not bitching. They asking why last changes were implemented when majority voted against it. They ask about ninja nerfs not put in patch notes. They give their feedback on changes, after all. You have different opinion and happy with last changes? No problem, voice it, but don’t call other’s “bitching”.

Have there been more stealth patches? I played a match just to try and grab some contracts and it felt like my plasma cannon’s rate of fire had gone through the floor…

Thanks devs. I don’t know what you did, but I played extensively today and most of the matches were pretty balanced (no T3s in our T2 queues). Also wait times for starting T2 matches are down to regular 5-30 seconds again! Great!

 

Playing the game feels much better again, since actual player skill and good teamplay decides the outcome of a match!

Also the drop rate of green loot seems to have been slightly increased. -> VERY motivating!

 

Still I put +1 on the complaints regarding reimplantation cost, loot quality (1500 credits is nothing), and especially loyalty grind. (Btw. I AM a paying player and it feels like a grind nonetheless).

 

But for me the core game is back to being playeable again!

There is still a lot of STUFF that hasn’t been implemented yet, still at least 1 tier hasn’t been released yet and on and on. So yes bitching is the word I used to describe it. Especially when people are threatening not playing anymore. I’ve just got one word for them, well not really a word but “CYA!” Or two if you prefer “Peace out!” :salute:

 

Now about the mac issue here’s something to xxxxx about, its not an opinion that’s keeping people that want to play away from game. They want to play but can’t because their computers won’t let them.

not every single ship ofc, but sub-classes like “command ship”, “gunship” etc. currently they are almost the same, except some buffs for different modules.

i wont argue with u about mixed tiers. as i said befor, i had no negative impact on my gameplay experience with this change. 1 or 2 T4 guys wont make a huge difference, unless they are super-skilled players. But if they are, they will carry even in T3 ships. Most of the time i dont even meet them in battle (and i mostly fly with interceptors and sometimes with fighters, i dont use frigates at all).
