@blacksir please for the love of all civil, buy youself a dictionary.

Off topic - I voted you up just for saying that. You, lass, are a legend

Jeez, guys. Take it easy on the devs. They’ve made an awsome game, and have just made a mistake in the last patch.

I still have to admit though that the new matchamking system is, to say the least, rubbish, and I have been totally anihallted many times.

I myself like the new ship pricing system. Sure, it’s more of a grind to get there, but i’ve found that when I buy a ship, I have to spend more battles just to get a good weapon on it, and now I can use it straight away. That and you’re getting a fully outfitted ship for actually a cheaper overall price than what it would usually cost.

And what’s wrong with the practice battles? I can’t seem to get in one.

All, in, all, keep up the good work, and please fix this soon

P.S. I’ve also noticed a bit of subtle nerfing. My Acid Hydra’s Desintegrator seems a little weaker than what it was.

Not like that. This is only good for new player who just reached new T level and dont have any T3 mods yet.

For me this is totally useless. I have 3 T3 ships already fully fitted. I can use like 80% of that fit to my new T3 ships cause they will be the same class(fighter). So why the hell should i spend 1+ million for mods that i ALREADY have? yet again there is 3 fighters in each T level so they force me to buy this xxxx base fit 3 times while i can use most of the modules on different ships just by refitting.

I wouldnt mined such option. But only as an option. I should be able to buy ship with base fit or without if i dont want to dublicate unnessesary modules.

For now this change is another money-drain from players who sucseded in earning money without donations and licences. They force me to waste money so i have to buy licence to increase gain or donate to the game to compensate loses.

Ninja-nerf on loot is the same story. “Oh u end up playing good and won a round? Screw u, take this 1k loot drops so u barely can cover the sosts of rockets u used”

Well server is restarting now are they doing something about this right now?

I think so.

Error, please, enlighten us? We’re kinda lost here…

I believe this sums it up

:learn:  “WHAT IS THIS IN THE CHANGELOG”

:dntknw: " I DONT KNOW WHAT GOING ON"

:secret: Dev’s - “Shhhhhhhh, you’ll find out soon.”

  Us.

I do have tier 3 and 4 ships, so I do know what this all means for high level players, and you’re right, there should be an option to choose weather you want yo spend more, e.g. "Do you wish to outfit the ship with deafult equipment. However, as has been clearly stated, this is just a game in beta, and things are being tested.

They’ve just restarted the server anyway, probably to remove the chages 'till they can be changed.

plz let it be usefull , so they put down there pitchforks and torches.

Why we continued experimenting with the matchmaking:
According to the results of the in-game voting 53% voted for keeping the old system, while 47% voted for a change in one or another form (31% in advanced Tiers and 16% in favor of a single Tier).
This means that nearly half of all players believe that it is possible to improve the performance.
Furthermore the old matchmaker was particularly unpleasant, when you reached a new Tier you had to fight stronger enemies.
You were immediately thrown into a group, where the majority of the other players already had good equipment and ranked ships, it was a hard way until being able to compete against them. With this in mind, we decided to refine the logic of the matchmaker.
Now it takes into account:

The combat skills and the players efficiency in the previous battles.
The more successful fights a player does, the better his chances are to end up in a battle with equal players.
This system needs time to gather enough information in order to run successful.

Unfortunately, when the system started you could even end up with T1 against T4.
We have already adjusted the settings and we are watching your feedback in order to improve the matchmaker.
Since the new system is much more flexible to configure, we hope to be able to create battles which will suit most players.

As for the changes in the reputation system:
Please note that the maximum reputation is credited, if you are involved in a fight on the ship, whose rank is close to your own. This has been made in order to prevent farming of new players.
It was made an unfortunate mistake, and the players who already reached a high rank in one faction, received little reputation in another faction.
This will be fixed in the near future.

The restart should improve the reputation gain.

So, i have reach rank 10 (T4) in jericho, if i play a T2 ship, i will gain less reputation than if i play a T4 ship ? I must play rank T4 now if i want to gain full reputation on a game ?

Thanks (and sorry for my english)

The restart should improve the reputation gain.

What exactly is it doing? Does anyone there know? Or want to tell us? Maybe also next time will be nice to tell everyone before.

We hope the small patch fixes this.

Error pls and what about loot after win? Its toaly useless right now…

u just make loot 1/10 what was yesterday and this is totaly stupid when ships costs much more now…

Yes, Error, does that  stop the tier mixing? That’s what we’re after!

That might be true, but after leaving T1 and entering T2, one already expects this. Also, by flying a well equipped T1 in a T2 battle with a squad, you could also play it quite well, even if you were not as experienced, so better players got faster reps.

So I guess, it is a wrong play strategy for a player to not expect the next tier to be harder first, and maybe play along his own tier a bit to gather more stuff. You did already get T3 modules in T2 fights, in my opinion, you even got more T3 than T2 there, which might be subjective, since its based on my experience.

I like the idea of you guys to try to balance the game so that higher Tiers have also some disadvantages, like T2 weapons having lot less dps than T1 weapons, or changing how weapon modifiers work in other tiers.

But: dont try to be too helpful on the career of the player. Yes, players have issues. Some come out in the chats and forums, and can be addressed by small fixes, like explaining, they dont buy a “ship” but they buy a license to a ship, which cannot be sold. But the issue of getting into harder gameplay is actually a challenge, nobody should whine about.

They do, but we all ignore it together until they (we) have learnt their lesson.

So if the goal is really to have a tier system that is actually interchangable, I would test that in a longer period of time, maybe with a mixed battlemode, where everyone can bring what they want.

I wouldnt however do that out of the intentions mentioned - because players “experience difficulties” at the start of a new tier. One can farm his own tier, plan ahead, and equip the T3 ship slowly, until they actually decide to get into T3. That challenge should be left to the player.
