That’s a bit of a logical fallacy - no one voted for the new match making system, they voted that they thought the old system could be changed/improved. Big difference.
I realized that after i posted. but left it in anyway.

Agree about the implants as well, that is a big problem, some t3 implants are amazing, plus all the others as well? Heavy hitting people in big ships.
where do i download this
About the loot change btw:
I bought a DLC for a extra loot chance… and now it is worth nothing with this new loot syste… where things are worth lik 2000 credits… I feel cheated!
Also the DLC gave me 10% increased rep… 10% of 100 it turns out now… because the rep has been nerfed to much…
Frankly I agreed with and share your sentiments.
You get paid to say that?
This is not just a beta anymore, and im a paying customer, if i find something i paid for turns for the worse in massive steps, i aint seeing a reason to praise them.
I aint buying apple either with their flamboyant preaching fanboys not admitting fault.
Hell i love this game and how it plays, right now they systematically destroy what i enjoyed the most.
@blacksir please for the love of all civil, buy youself a dictionary.
I second this, If it was possible id demand my money back for my license etc, there is noway I would pay for this game at its current state.
I like how the poll was totally ignored, I would like to use some profanity but ill take a raincheck this time.
I too feel this way… devs I hope you’re paying attention.
I know a lot of you hate the new patch, but remember there was a poll about which T had better plays?
Well a lot of us voted for “Doesn’t matter what T, The skill does” something like that; I guess that’s why they made the mach making like this.
Maybe you’re forgetting there was also a poll that specifically asked us if we wanted mixed tier, a poll to which over half the community said no. They didn’t care, and now they are actually telling us that over half the community said yes. Honestly, I have half a mind to boycott any gaijin products - consumers should (and ultimately will) support companies who give them what they want - other companies will fail miserably - it’s capitalism, I know it’s new in Russia, but get used to it, ok? :)
Dear Sirs:The latest changes that you’ve made to the game have really reduced the economic flow of the game for me,…I’ve spent 200 dollars real cash plus all the monetary units I’ve earned through the game mechanics and I’m left with only a few tier 3 ships actually outfitted,…Granted I’m leveling all the faction paths,…but you’ve just made it a lot harder to gain faction points, not to mention the reduction in monetary units received from almost every aspect of the game. If these changes stay in effect, advancement through the Tiers will be greatly slowed,…I saw nothing wrong with the payouts the way they were,…Ship costs, and the various accoutrements to outfit them went up,…payouts went down,…Really made it harder to advance. Perhaps that is what you are shooting for, but I think, from my perspective, we lost so much.
Thank you for your time and consideration,…Kellendell
BTW,…I forgot to mention how much I like this game. It has great prospects,…

Well players login drop will speak for it.
How exactly can you people, as developers who purportedly care for their game and their playerbase, justify so many changes that make this game horrible? I’m extremely disappointed in the absolute lack of judgement, maturity and foresight you guys show as game developers. Do you honestly only care about making some quick cash by stealing them from children too naive to know better?
This game is now a piss-poor farm fest where players who played from the start, especially your own country-men who you favoritise, have the upper hand and new players are totally screwed. You are now no better than any korean mmo where all you do is grind until your soul expires. If you had any desire to make this into a competitive high-profile game with a vibrant community, congratulations, you screwed up all your chances. It was bad enough that players with no license were basically treated like trash but now it’s virtually impossible to play how you want.
If you honestly care about your players and are not just greedy like some money-hungry pigs, the following changes need to be made:
Worse is how completely you can ignore a Poll you set up. The majority did not want this trash to happen and yet you, as democracry-challenged people, completely disregard this. I understand that communism for you too, but guess what, my own contry was communist as well, but we understand what “majority” means.
The absolute worst however is how I can no longer play with my lower rank friends without them getting curb-stomped. A week ago I was happily helping my friends get into this game by playing with them at rank 2. Now I get screwed however I want to play.
Instead of destroying your game and making it totally innaccessible to new players while favoritising veterans, you should be focused on creating more balanced equipment and new content.
I’m extremely disappointed in myself for having paid for a license in this game and will be calling my credit card provider to issue a chargeback. I can see now that giving money to you guys would only make you xxxx on your community more, and I’m never making this mistake again. Greed must not be encouraged and is the cancer that is killing the gaming community.
The fact that so many people are bothering to post - even if they are 90% rage posts - shows how much involvement and loyalty you managed to create with a good game in a very short time - and now you’re just pissing all that away. Honestly, I am shocked by your lack of foresight. Absolutely and totally shocked.

I’m sorry to say that the latest patches have seriously harmed my enjoyment of this game. Before the patch I was really enjoying being able to play a T1 Interceptor, loading up on damage buffs and going Frigate hunting. Now I’m finding all my games are full of T2 ships and they’re simply too tough for me to kill.
In fact, this is applying across the board; my kills are going down, my deaths are going up, and I’m left increasingly frustrated that all I seem to be able to do is spawn and get slaughtered by ships a tier higher than my own. Since income has been slashed and the cost of T2 ships has doubled, it’s even more difficult for me to get access to these more powerful ships…
…not that there’s any incentive to, because I know once I get a T2 fleet I’ll be put into matches against T3 ships, so I’ll still be useless.
For the sake of this game’s continued survival, I urge you in the strongest possible terms to remove mixed tiers!
I could accept the lowered income and increased ship costs, but not in the current gaming environment. I want to stick with this game, and prior to this patch I was even considering throwing some money down, but these latest changes feel like a cash-grab, and I refuse to support a company that just thinks about my money and not my enjoyment of their game.
I heard in chat, that actually people still complain to need licenses for greater squads. Did free-of-charge mean something else?
Also, mixing the Techs was not a good idea. Weighing ships by modules is not a fair deal. While I like the challenge, I cannot understand why this was done so fast. The ships were designed indepentently and balanced that way. We learned how to equip different tiers to fit their respected battlegrounds. Now getting into higher tier ships is almost a must.
There are many game changing things you dont get rewarded for. Distracting enemy ships for the whole game, without an actual kill can give your team the win - but you lesser points. I say this, because it is impossible to foresee all things which give you points on some scale, and the way how ship strengths are calculated now, is not how balancing should be done.
While T1 had some advantages over T2, and T2 had the cost advantage in T3 fights, and so on, forcing higher tier ships into the mix just results in a very big number of unfair fights. Highly specialized T2 interceptors have often no chance against any T3.
The “learning mechanism” is a nice idea, but overengineered by thought. That would mean, the numbers can tell you, how good a player is. It can’t. I just brought up an example earlier. There are many others. Each time I see I have to do one of the jobs which does not give me points to make my team win, it is now just saddened by the increasingly lower income on points. There are a lot of games using rating mechanisms, and mostly they are only enough to approximate a fair fight. Even after years of data gathering. People change, so does their playstyle and efficiency. Those numbers therefore always lie. Also, usually rating systems can be reset.
And just to remind you, grinding players are actually costly for you: they consume your bandwith and it burns people out. Rewards are a good thing to have, until you really start to master a game, and good players revisit good games for years even on maxed out levels. Lowering the rewards also had the side effect of licenses being nerfed aswell.
Also, some polls might get you bad results. We voted for the truth, that skill matters. I guess that didnt involve somebody trying to put a number on skill. Skill is an abstract word, and usually the thing you cannot measure in numbers since it happens exactly at that virtual place where the rational numbers stop. It can be a player who dogfights the enemy killer nonstop. It could be the strategical selection of ships. It could be the tactical awareness of Interceptors making a run on the sniperships. It could be a fighter pilot making the better movement turns and really killing his dangling interceptor. It could be his aim or his reaction time, or his awareness, his experience and prediction, his timing on modules, or how he combines his strengths to a particular ship to make it into a beast. Basicly it was the answer saying: “dont change, game is fine, skill matters”.
A poll only considers its answers, and leaves out the choice for an answer not listed. “What should we remove?”. Nothing? Cant say that. So I take the least interesting thing. And just hope it never happens.
Also the new gamemode is a mess. It’s funny, but I’d whish I could downvote one of the game modes for the matchmaking at least. Beacon hunt is the one game, where you just dont want to sit in a T2 heavy team against a T3 heavy team.
If we can interchange T2 and T3 ships, why do I have to equip T2 stuff on my T2, why have tiers at all? And why can people bring in 4 T3 ships and are paired with some who have only T1?
The worst thing which happened is the loss of playerbase. Matchmaking takes longer. The queue is still running forever if you are not paired into the next fight immediately. And because all patch stuff happened in one shot, it will be increasingly hard for you to analyze, what went wrong.

Where can one see the numbers?
I just know that yesterday was around 1000, today is about 800. No proof, im afraid.
And hereby Mr Sun realized what “Participating in battles with ships of a rank far below yours, gives you less reputation.” means.

and hopefully poured himself a stiff drink.
Nope, nearly every ship in this game was a t3 ship. A few were already T4.
But I have no prove for that sorry.
I am also talking about the repair costs. In this battle i just used my interceptor.
