I won’t farm T1/PVE efficiency for 400 GS but if they gave loyalty based on efficiency I would.

You catch my drift. I am not saying to tie it with credits (too many boosts from dlc/implants on that) or tie it with efficiency, but it should be some kind of steady flow.

Credits are just too steady. Only ties to attendance, while efficiency varies. If you afk LFR and you are bad at it you will get few assists, no objective points and get low loyalty.

If you are in the fray with interceptor, fighter, or more aggressive frigate play you will obviously get more loyalty.

 

And lore wise - why should the sub-faction reward a guy who was fighting for them with best they got and a guy who just attended and observed the same ?

Indeed I do. The game felt a lot less grindy back when we had the reputation system even though by the numbers it possibly was more so. Reputation gain was tied to winning or losing and you got much more for winning - a good incentive to play for the win.

There’s no way anyone can make 10k+ eff. without cheating or exploiting, on top of that top 2 are from the same corp, top kills only 15 and 26, makes you wonder where all that eff. is coming from. Beacon points? Hmm if dev doesn’t do anything that means anyone can farm 400 free GS by recapture beacon points in 12 minutes without any penalty.

The difference is roughly 300 points, which is 1 cap. I guess 1v1 or empty tier 1v1+bots ?

Hope custom battles do not count toward the leaderboards ?

This is a good proof about why GS rewards out of tournaments or conquests are bad… people is greedy.

This is exactly what i predicted [here](< base_url >/index.php?/topic/23163-developer-blog-entry-from-may-14th-pirates-new-map-ratings-and-other-news/?p=266065). You get in a match, you talk with your enemy, you cap for 12 minutes.

  • Screenshots of the battle

I’d also like t know how many ppl were in cue for t3 atm and dsr ratings of squad members…

New squad MM is not good.

 

Nope. MM is working great in providing balanced matches…There are some problems but no aboiut balncing… Kine said that they were in 2 two-men squads… and waited for ages without getting matched squad vs squad… This is really stupid! And need to be fixed… Fix the cues not the MM balancing system…

 

Also pls find a fix for the shame of having high lvl farming in t1-t2…This makes just new players simply run away form the game…

And waht the hell r all of you guys still hanging around in t3… Place for high lvl palyers is T5…lol 

The reason people are still in T3 are many, but here are the ones I usually give:

 

  1. Too hard to get full blue / purple ships in T4 and T5. Rightly or wrongly, some players will blame perceived weakness on their part on a lack of “proper” equipment, so will stay in lower tiers where they have better gear.

 

  1. All the money is tied up in T3. Spend $200 on a F2P title and you will want to use what you’ve bought. If you’ve bought 6+ Tier 3 ships, you will stay in Tier 3.

 

  1. Matchmaking times. Fact is that T3 queues are always shorter than T4 or T5, so even if people want to move up, they don’t - they stay where the games are.
  1. Most important one… Farmig and preserving the beloved dsr vs players that are still trying to synergize their ships… Such easy lol

C’mon… Doesn’t really surprise me to find many of these “high lvl farmer/players” easy-win addicted running to even lower tiers to collect more farming if needed lol

it’s easier in T4/5 - smaller games - easier to carry and farm

The reason squads stick to a learning tier like T3 is simple, it’s because it is the most imbalanced tier. With premium ships being the strongest in tier and Gigas II rank9 implant providing a massive edge over lower ranks it’s only natural and fairly obvious that squads would farm there.

As always that’s a game design issue and nothing players could be blamed for. Asking or even expecting players to voluntarily make their life in game more difficult because of perceived ethics is silly IMHO.

Best and easiest place to farm is T5 - E13, makes you a GOD if you have a good killer on a team. Making a wider gap between you and randoms with every kill.

There’s only the Mauler in T5, not enough for a farm squad.

It’s a tier that introduces essential modules and implants that players have to learn to deal with. Not even the entire tier has 4 active modules. It’s an introductory tier.

As I said above, tier 3 strives on its massive imbalance that allows for easy farm by those on top of the tier of those at the bottom. Those farming on top of the tier are not learning, but those genuinely entering the tier sure are.

It’s only in T4+ that players finally have all the tools (slots + modules) available to them.
