I guess the adaptive shield only works when achieving max SPEED. But does it include afterburners? Doesnât say, thus we should conclude that it does not matter as long as your going max base speed. Then the other question Arises, does strafing side to side or up and down affect its theoretical max speed?Â

Who talks about punishing? I just said that shrapnel was not fun to play against, which is bad for the game. If you donât change itâs power but change the mechanics that make it annoying problem is solved. Here being skilled means being able to exploit the mental difficulty of dealing with that weapon.

Also, what is âsupernovaâ refers to? I use RFBs since a long time, and they were awesome (shooting little mentoses with 0 accuracy is fun), now they seem deadlier, almost like plasma gun. Which is a shame, because there should be some big difference if they are both EM weaponsâŚ

The rapid pace of overheat is TERRIBLE !
 NO WAY, That thing range, dps and speed is too fast and can screw interceptor freak fast. Reduce the fire speed, damage(that is a heal weapon dont?) and range and we can talk about overheat.

Umm, not sure I like the dmg nerf on the ammunition⌠Look like I will have to work on my build, the projectile speed is what make that build strong, the dmg nerf wasnt really needed as the dps is already low to be honest. With the chance for your target to avoid your projectile (using gauss cannon), the crit hit chance reduced as well as the shot you can fire that weapon is alot less attractive now. I will have to give it a shot first I guessâŚ

honestly, at t5 if you are using the j6 implant uranium ammo is not needed, at least i dont need it. and i am also running f2 and a horizon as well!

New coil mortar + old uranium shells is a pretty deadly combo. I guess the uranium shell nerf was to compensate for the new coil mortars.

- New Flamberge graphics are cool! I own that ship and when I entered the hangar I was so happy to see the new bling! Thanks!

- Coil mortar rebalance: love it! The detonation radius is decreased so it will take now more skill to use it effectively, I just hope itâs not too much. It certanly isnât for me so I actualy perceive a, well, big buff. I had a blast yesterday with the jerry frigatte in t2 pvp, my effectiviness against ceptors was really big - I was surprised. This gun really blows ceptors off the skies.

- Shotgun nerf, on the other side I hate. I culdnât make the weapon usefull on my Superkite anymore. I just sucked in pvp so hard, it was painfull. Before I used to obliterate frigs and fighters in just a couple of shots. Now thats not possible anymore, I coughed blood fighting fighters. It had a soul (I liked) before the patch, now it feels like a stale lasagne. Boring and spiritless.

- Ion Emitter buff is nice, it makes ion gunships a little better now, not too much IMO.

- Gauss buff I also like, it made my jerry command ships more usefull in pvp, something that I wished since I started playing.

In a nut shell, I cant hit anything accurately. I cannot dogfight. I cant do anything with that weapon. I spend about 2 hours trying to get used to the fixed spread and speed of the weapon. But with that spread so high, I cant hit NEAR a interceptors hull. Never mind hitting it accurately.Â

Dont get me wrong, I pride my self as a âSemiâ good pilot. But when you make a weapon an experienced player cannot use anymore, then you failed to test this weapon accordingly.Â

As we have explained before, with the upcoming mode our pilots will be able to change hangars by simply flying to them through different locations.Â
The GS hangar change - is to fasten the process and increase comfort, nothing else.Â

tried the new coils. bigger explo radius is fun, however the detection radius now does not allow shooting around cover anymore. kinda sad. it gave TDM a certain spin. It did feel a bit OP with that radius, however it could be slightly bigger now. i whish there was ammo for that, just to shoot campers better.
