The engi afk famers scoring 10 synergy points an hour were a pest anyway, hope this changes things and the server stability/load as well.

As for the patch, I am saying it again. Rank 14 implants cooldown duration needs to be reduced by 50-75% as well, from 4 minutes to 2, or even to 1-minute cooldown.

R14 implant nerf was unneeded. If anything they needed a buff or to have cooldowns greatly reduced. Undo.

 

Also finally isotope harvester buff. Now it’s almost worth the hella time and money you need to build it.

And even if it is extremely dangerous…what did you expect, really…rainbows and unicorns? It’s a rank V Special Module of a t6* ship for crying out loud, it supposed to be extremely dangerous!!! People have done some hard work to get one or any/all of the Elly ships, not to mention that some of them have paid some good money for it, let alone how much work is needed to unlock a rank V SP, so enough with nerfs.

 

Enough is enough, no more nerfing please, if you want to do something right don’t make them OP in the fist place!

They will help us to fight against aliens or other players :D:D:D

Please nerf it totally 10 hp, 10 dps, 300 sec cooldown for all modules and shields/drones - please make me happy…

Plase make them useless, we are alomost at this point, just one more step.

I don’t understand what you try to mean. If you don’t know how to use this module you are very bad using missiles. Crystal Predator is more like a “death sentence”, you probabily gonna die or lost all your heath.

So tell me why Tai’Kin and Waz’Got rank V special modules is not so powerfull and effective?! In the right hands this module is catastrophic. Seriously man, 18000 damage!! More damage than plasma torpedo!!

Well for starters, Taikin is recon interceptor so all of it’s spec mods are focused on travel and what not, and the Jump Drive for Taikin is very strong in PvE. Waz’got is a engineer so all its spec mods are drones which are support based.

And the Thar’ga is a gunship it is meant to deal damage and kill which is way all of it’s spec mods are damage based.

Good patch, I like that the buff in Guided torpedo eventually came and that the paints costs less!

How many times have you seen Scavenger Drones being used as a support? How about being used as offensive? Insane dps m8. A regular frigate’s drones can kill an interceptor (for example) after a bit, but it takes a reasonable amount of time considering they aren’t primary weapons. A set of Scavenger Drones can kill the same interceptor in a few seconds just from automatic fire, not even including the missile feature.

They should have left the standard healing by scavenger drones in passive mode , when they are not firing like in the silver engineers…

lel, all game prefer put a module OP for the beginning and nerf after, it’s a good strategy … beta test? why? beta test useless xD. I seen never a free to play today who don’t put a module very OP ( ho excuse me, we are dev, but we don’t know how work hahahaha xD).

I mean what I’ve typed. I went back to Crystal Hunger, 6,5 secs of 50% increased rate of fire combined uhmm with Aiming Overcharge is giving more than 18k damage. Mind you that the 18k damage of Crystal Pred is not instant, it takes 8secs in total. Lots of things can happen in 8secs, someone can heal you up, or me who spammed the Crystal Pred on you can die (before you die so I won’t benefit from Crystal Pred repairs)…various scenarios. The problem with Crystal Hunger is that is harder to use than Crystal Pred, yes I admit that Crystal Pred is an ‘easy’ to use spec mod - you just lock on someone and spam it, yeah, but what if this someone is an Intie at 2,5K distance doing 600/sec…you think that CP will hit him for sure? Think again…with its 1000m/s velocity can’t hit that many things, unless you have that Intie right in front of you and the guy who’s piloting it is kinda lazy ![:006:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006.png “:006:”). And what about hitting uhmm a Ronin with Thermal res…you’ll barely scratch it. So yes, I may not be so good with missiles and then again you may not so good on piloting Inties ![:D](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006j.png “:D”).

For me the real strenght of CP is its repairs (if you take the kill) but for some reason they don’t ‘work’ as they suppose or maybe I’m doing something wrong. When I spam it in pve/pvp/os/whatever what I really expect is the 8k hull repairs and not its 18k damage, don’t forget that every time a Tharga spams it it gets 1215pts hull damage unlike CH where you only get the half of it…

 

So no, I don’t think CP is ‘extremely dangerous’, it’s powerful yeah…as it supposed to be, aamof I think Hive was more ‘dangerous’ and thus the nerf.

Why are you crying? As you said, you don’t use this module. Nothing will change for you.

Of course Crystal Hunger deals more damage but accuracy depends of your skills if you use It against evasive enemies, they will resist much more than a guard. Crystal Predator has 99% accuracy in any enemy. Crystal Predator is a bit damage for a guard, ok, but only ~11% of players use this class. Large majority use interceptors, fighters and other frigates (interceptors and fighters, ~66% of players), Crystal Predator is terrible for them.
