So, developers refuse to implement some assignments or tasks that are in PvP to Co-op mode, despite a clear trend. Regular loyalty contracts still do not have 1 daily cancel ability.
They think it’s fine as it is. Problem is that they are wrong. And they almost never listen.
In 12 days I only got 20 destroyer kills with Iridium slugs for Thar’Ga special exteriors.
Of course, required count is 50 and 100 with other alien weapons, like Sk’Rah, etc. It’s not fun anymore, it’s boring, tedious, uninspiring and pointless.
Now you mostly see Thar’Gas and Guards. Constant debuffs on every corner… Guards still suck and get killed too easily. Shield resistances should be higher by additional 20 points.
Destroyers die within seconds, so very few people actually use them. In any case, this game has nothing more to offer, than just some more of the same tedious grind and you can’t even choose, where and how you want to complete certain missions.

It’s literally just doing the same boring thing over and over in a very restricted manner. You either play how you want and have fun, or play using specific ships with specific weapons trying to do a specific thing, in order to gain a very minute amount of resources.
Usually, interceptor is one of the most popular ships, that’s why we did it this way.
Maybe in lower ranks but i don´t see many in T5, and since I´m forced to play there…
Edit: Got the quest 3 times yesterday and stuck with it today again. I won´t do it anymore because it´s annoying and a waste of time. You don´t want us to get the monos? That is the right way…
In any case, those Guard GS packs, 3 of them, that have some exclusive items, that you cannot obtain in the Store, it’s not a very smart move.
Yes, you get guaranteed Mark 4 items and you get all of them from the list, but the fact that you did not present some of the items listed there in the Store, like Mark 1 variants that needs to get upgraded, well it’s really stupid and one more proof that you cannot obtain some items, unless if you invest some cash, which fits P2W definition. 20 EUR to get all items.
Like I said, it would not be a problem, if you could get all the items from the Store, Mark 1, etc., but Proximity mortar and Gun adapter are not available otherwise. Sad!
The question is , can we get enough user pressure to get a testing server from gajin / devs?
We know some super-testers … but maybe a broader selection of testing players would be beneficial to the game as a community-&-devs-&-owner-strategist perspective???

Maybe you over-value the directz control the devs in reality have over this game: I admit, that the russian side of this game was ‘control’ oriented, but in reality over the globe - that this game is used and played- they do not have this total control. At times I imagine that even the devs are estonished, what comes out of their strategic and hard work efforts.
Take it easy Koro, try to get a good healthy hook to the devs’ side and do not expect unicorns (though Tharga seems to be like one…  ) … they listen and want to develop with us , but they have to feed mouths and have to do reasonable work… not games…

They try to test things like power of destroyers against tharga, number of kills in spec. situation, amount of influence opf their recent tweak of collision damage in game…

Really - I count like 14 € - and I see this as an opportunity to reward the devs for the right direction they choose. Everyone knows - this game cannot live from F2P-players only!!!

No, it wouldn’t - been there done that - waste of devs resources.
You need 100x playerbase to find enough players that would contribute in meaningful way.

Because a corporation with 0 points for that sector at the start of dreads ended up with almost 9000 points at the end, 2000 of those coming in 15 mins after battles ended. Our wing also did not fight a single one of their players over the course of 4 battles, so how did they earn that many points? Or any points if none of their players were playing?
Also somehow our corporation lost points after the battles were over? Bug, intended? What is this mechanic and why was it not explained?
In Summary: Can a full and thorough explanation of all the mechanics governing the new dreads points be given, including how exactly points are earned and how they are lost?

Maybe the SecCon battle started prior the end time. The points were given when it ended.
I have another question. How is it possible to fight in SecCon against players from your corp? It happened to me this sunday. I’m quite sure we were squading in separate groups of only player from our corp.
Ok, I played on the last weekend enough to say something about the current status of the game.
No matter what tier I played the games was mostly balanced, we got some really close games. (we was able to turn some almost lost games with ptfo)
Thar’gas have too many different tools. They fly like a ceptor, they can escape sometimes from an interceptor, they can blink, pulsar, they have drones, heal with kills… no matter how much they nerf these ships they just got too many options without serious downside.
Alien weapons not available for everyone. I got killed really fast by a Shakaaaa cannon (seriously all alien weapon sounds like you wanna vomit). So I decided to build that weapon, but no. I bought a few iridium container, checked some blue loots in OS, seems no way to get that weapon even for a reasonable price.
The new guard modules for GS only. Not sure about the price, and when will they be available for free, imo only cosmetics should be available for real money.
± Sai paintjobs looks terrible. I was always dreaming about a customisable Sai, now I got it and i hate how it looks. It has an extra shadow on it what makes almost all colour terrible on it.
Monocrystal and Xeno grind is challenging only the 150-200 destro kill sounds ridiculous.
3-4 squads not really working. So my old problem is still valid I can’t play with my friends.in pvp
± not sure about the guard balance. atm there are almost no ceptors, most of the games are frigballs.
Serious server issues. Often the game become unplayable because of server lags. its 100% not ISP problem.
Too much gambling. I would like to see a full price on the new premium ships. Its ok to collect the shipparts like in a casino but I won’t pay for lottery. If I see this ship cost x and I have x to buy that ship I’ll spend my money. Specially because I wanna support the game what I like. But I’m not gonna pay for something random.
Find a group option is amazing, the UI needs improvement.
The new seccon system looks fair for the first look.
Overall when the game is playable, its kinda enjoyable. Its really on the edge of the f2p and p2w, (its a bit more p2w). I’ll play a few weeks and lets see how it goes.

Thar Ga is the only ship in game with maluses.
It has self damage (up to 2k5 hull on hive, or 1k hull on crystal drone).
I like the idea of the new spawn protection to evade spawn camping, but getting killed by invincible ships in your own spawn is really annoying…
Um, you yourself are invincible when spawned? Unless you’re camping on spawn, then yes, it can happen. Let me guess, recon?

I think it was broken before. It was useless for most players. As soon as you tried to fight back, colorful explosions. The new System is a step in the right direction, but should be tweaked.
But I agree, you should not be on enemy spawn with god mode buff. This buff should only be available in the spawn area, if a ship leaves it, the buff is gone.

the argument, that they are indeed jack of all trades ships is completely valid, as it was already pretty much the main strength of the gunship to be a major damage dealer with good mix of mobility and tank, while the tharga allows to even surpass other classes that have extreme downsides, which were already balanced.
it’s a blood magic system, i have yet not seen any game not struggling with that mechanic. So I do agree, that it is hard to say anything before we get a glimpse of what Ellidyum will bring to the table, in the long run - aswell as hopes, that every ship still brings stuff to the table aswell.
with the xenofarm going on, it’s not even yet finished, what the game will be like, if thargas can be fully adapted by players. so i think any guess around that is just personal opinions, and none of the two arguments is “more valid” at all.

I’ll disagree. Some modules have clear downside. Such as Crystal drone, which nobody use because of it (1k3 hull damage)
Or the fact that hive can be countered by an ECM disable, which instead of healing you will do 2k5 self damage.
Or now with alien intuition, the target malus that can’t be removed by reboot anymore.
Even Matter have a clear downside now : If you use anything else then a singularity or a thar kth (Railgun, gauss, Thar ga tok), then to use the heal effectively you have to get far too close for this kind of weapon.
And don’t forget that matter absorber take an hull slot. If you equip it but don’t play that risky mini game (really dangerous when you’re low on hull), you lost an hull slot.
I’ll give them another month. With every updates, they are increasing the downsides of thar ga by a lot.
