Welcomed change to DD’s. Swiftness modifier need a nerf. Thar’k in itself is fine. Unless reducing damage by half, it’s hard to nerf it more i think. Fixed music track, time to put music back on and see if it still loop over each other.
Corp Iridium from Ellydium just had to come. Not sure what effect of the nerf on Vaccum laser will have on those not using bunch of horizon modules and the special ability.

great patch in genral, i realy liked the reduced amount of dmg deal by modules even if THIS still happen
new guns models are awesome same as new effect, the new vaccun laser in particular look realy pretty i want to get a vigi now ^^
the small buff for the tyrant is cool even if the difference is hard to notice
Thar’ga nerf is great but still not enoght. → i like the fact that most of op build are always the same: energy coverter, particle purge, combat reconstructor… it seem no one are using other special module (few ppl are using hive) witch is sad cause i would have love to see more diversity in fight i guess this is player choice ^^, i’m making my way to condensing crystals to see how it is.

Cargo transporter in os
messon cannon not correctly aiming at the designated dirrection
isotope harvester that sometime can’t shoot if aiming dirrectly on a enemy ship(the drone disapear)
cancel button for ellydium mission apear only for the first mission, even if not used it disapear at the second mission and sometime took 48 hours to come back instead of 24.
pyro emiter deal no dmg to the core (destroyer spec ops)
multiphase shield sometime does not work at all
weapon and modules:
hive thar’ga special module use too much hull
isotope harvester deal not enoght dmg (need at least a 25% boost)
nightingale drone maker deal not enoght dmg (need a least a fire rate or a 50% more dmg boost)
thar’kth still deal too much dmg
destroyer dmg boost in close range should be reduce to 1.5x insted of 2.5x

Yea, not much difference when eating an arc’ing. But longer survivability against AoE’s coming from over 750m. And against those who zoom and aim at modules. There will always be a META which is overused, for good reasons. More diversity would be nice, but they can’t do much for that. The ball is in the players hands.

So be happy about the way it is now thar’ga is still too strong I’d never deny that but i have to say that i am way more scared about the ellydium frigs and inteceptors then our complaint NO.1. I mean i will literally quit the game after the alien frig will be released and i optained it and will return when the next inti/fighter is released… just think about it a frig going 700m/s, teleproting around, regenerating way more than thar’ga and having 6 fancy turrets with a new fancy frig weapon (boson cannon like or sth even more annoying with 6.6k standard dps not 4.4k and 6km range and not 1-3km). THIS is scary (unless you want star conflict to turn into “World of Spacetanks”).
And now thar’ga looks like a tame little fox to you…

Yes. You can avoid or mostly ignore a destroyer. You can hide from him. You can choose where and when to fight him or leave him. That’s harder to do if a Thar’ga is attacking you.
guys I didnt read on the patch notes anything about Gravitational Lens dealing dmg to the one who fires it and gets caught on it…
found out the hard way: charged a gravitational anomaly and got sucked in it, then saw the dmg being inflicted, dealt myself 80k KN dmg…

I keep seeing cinnamon mentioning “oh tharga requires skill”… no it doesnt. being hit for 8594dmg in a single hit from a tharga, while in an interceptor isnt skillful., or no. dont get me started on how the tharga does around 30-40k dmg in single hits on destroyers. that much potential damage means even the worst players could do the average dps of over 9000. merely 20-30% hit chance on enemies is plenty to carry and win a game, considering its basically “20% chance to one-hit-KO your targets”
meanwhile, covert ops, ment for “quick” assassination do basically around 10k dps at MOST. taking in consideration all damage abilities active and main weapons firing, while tharga only needs their main weapon to do over 30kdps
and this is only one of the many ways to compare the tharga’s “role” to other ships.
tharga has mass crowd control, massive self healing, and way too much damage. also hits the 700m/s speed cap way too easely without sacrificing anything. thats like, combining every ship’s strong points into one.
All of star conflict ships has downsides; less hull for shields, more speed for less survivability… etc. I have yet to see a “downside” for using ellydium ships. lots of damage, lots of projectile speed, range, health, health regen AND speed. while for example the empire gets more damage and hull for less speed.

And don’t forget one turret won’t cover the whole dessy. I had some test on turrets and they aren’t enough to defend from a stealthy covop with a plasma arc ready.

Yes - exactly they are not that useful. Even from an interceptor coming they might not help if player is skilled in maneuverability. And they fire automatically , one cannot switch them off! And plasma acr can disable more than one module in one 3s attack ect.pp. there is not great balance…

As much as i seem to hate on dess yes those turrets could prob do with a little boost, but not too much.
Nice patch.
Seemingly randomised collsion damaged and some transparency in the elly ship ‘wheel’ are where some little fixes are still required.
Both are things which thart any pre planning on the part of the player.
The Thargah is still powerful, but now it can be handled. It’s mostly problematic in combat recon. It can solo out a cap too easily.
Dessys seems ok now, but I don’t know why the change was made in the first place.
I like the new look of the Phaser, but it still hard to shoot the bubble and the explosion didn’t make much damage to worth it.
The weapon models look great but there icons don’t have enough characteristic it’s hard to learn them.
The group finder is great. The new put one max rank ship in slot to do missions is not that bad I can do missions and collect ship parts at the same time.
There is too much pvp only missions. I hardly can get in a pve lately.
I really like the little loot after lost, it made rage quitting less, but it’s funny when the voice in the hangar congrats me after a lose ”)
